Rogers Strickland tells the story of the beginning of a 40-year commitment to quality and service. After leaving the United States Air Force, Rogers Strickland was ready for a second career. He turned to the industry he had known his whole life: construction. Rogers founded Strickland Construction Company, Inc. in 1980 in Raytown, Missouri.

Using his experience and knowledge of the industry-he had worked at his father's construction business starting at 8 years old-Strickland Construction was formed primarily to build metal farm buildings, but the company soon expanded into commercial and industrial building construction. An important principle put us on the map in the 1980s: a commitment to creative solutions for our clients that are affordable and functional.

We owe our continued growth and more than 30 years of success to that same value. Always trying to find the best, most cost-effective and efficient way of working has made us an industry leader in value engineering and design-build.
Services
Since Butler(R) structurals are pre-punched, we use the Butler(R) Scrubolt fastener for clip and panel attachment. These high-strength, substantial Scrubolt fasteners have twice the pullout strength of industry-standard self-drillers. The galvanized purlin finish provides for a brighter interior finish than red oxide primer and superior to primer finishes that require painting to lock and finish.
Strickland Construction has been in business for more than 30 years. We believe our success is a blessing we need to pay forward by giving back to the community and helping those in need. Providing all material and labor, we have built 55 community centers, schools and churches in. For 16 years, Strickland Construction has supported the annual "I'm Third" charity golf tournament for Camp Wood YMCA in Elmdale, Kansas.
Strickland Construction uses the design-build approach and value engineering. We are dedicated to the construction of attractive, functional buildings that will be durable, energy efficient and profitable for our clients. Herein lies one of our key ingredients to success: Problems are nothing more than opportunities in disguise.
Strickland Construction's commitment to creative problem solving has guided us toward green initiatives. Simply put, green building is smart building. We work hard to find ways to use recycled, maintenance-free and energy-efficient products that are also aesthetically pleasing and affordable.

More consideration needs to be taken for the residents near their construction sites. They have been working for nearly a month next door and sometimes their equipment is no more than ten feet from my home. Their large equipment shakes and rattles my home to the point that I have had to remove pictures off the wall that were literally about to fall off. The noise and racket reaches deafinig perportions. It has become intolerable.
