Zeb is so easy to work with and does wonderful work. He works hard to understand how we are trying to use the trees on our property and then prune them to keep them healthy while meeting those goals. I especially appreciate that he takes the very long view (talking about how a tree will look in 30 or 100 years is common when working with him) and helps the trees to follow their natural growth habit rather than forcing them into unnatural shapes.

I emailed inquiring about a "tree risk assessment" to assess our "exceptional tree" as to whether it could be deemed a hazard. After waiting nearly two weeks without reply, I called to ask about it. (Take home lesson - Just pick up the phone and CALL.) I must have caught Zeb Haney , the President and Founder, at a bad time. He admitted to being short on time and intimated I didn't know what I was talking about with regard to our tree being "exceptional". (Trunk diameter must exceed 30" @ 4.5' above ground - I did my homework). He explained the cost

On Angie's List we bought a full-day service with two arborists. They did the work today and we are thrilled. Our favorite tree is now a work of art and the rest of our shrubs and smaller trees have been wonderfully trimmed for beauty and health. They were a little slow to contact us after we purchased the service, but once we were in touch, they did everything as promised and did it exceptionally well.

I contacted Zeb for a tree consult following a bad tree pruning experience that had been done by a non-ISA certified bad pruning company. I wish I had contacted Zeb before the experience. Zeb with Tree Resource exceeded our expectations for an arborist. On the technical side, he was clearly competent and knowledgeable. He climbed up in our magnolia tree with ease, pruning the high and low branches. He took the time to talk with us about his process, educated us about how to take care of some other trees, asked questions and listened to the responses. He was friendly and courteous, talking with our son who was enraptured by his tools and tree climbing.
