Thundering Oak brought me a free load of wood chips, which I am super grateful for. However, the passenger of the truck got out and was looking around the property while the driver chatted. Two nights later the passenger (and somebody else) came back and stole our generator. Police took down all info and surveillance footage, but nothing happened.

Thundering Oak will always be my go-to tree guys from now on. I had plenty of work for them in my backyard and Bryce is fantastic at coordinating with his guys and the work that needed to be done. I made sure everybody at the job site knew about my garden that I did not want destroyed and they did great at avoiding it and any possible damage that could’ve occurred. Granted some of the trees were big and I assumed that there may be some damage due to the nature of the trees and the type of work. Thundering Oak has taken care of my 100 year old giant maple tree several times over the past 4-5 years. There was once or twice where it took a long while to get a response to my appointment request (during the windy storm season) which was frustrating but overall I am very happy with Bryce and his support team. The first time I used their services, Bryce was the only one - out of 3 tree 'experts' - with enough knowledge to know that my tree could be saved (explaining that split seams in the trunk are normal for this type of tree and usually don't pose a problem if the overall tree is healthy

Thundering Oak just completed a job for us. They cut 8 dead Hemlock and Alder trees The crew worked quickly and efficiently. They have the expertise to cut down big trees with precision. They raked the area and chipped all the downed limbs and branches so everything was clean and tidy when they left. I highly recommend them and will contact them again the next time I need trees cut.

I would give this business and Mr. Landrud minus stars if allowed. There is currently a small claims judgment against this company for damage done to our property while they were working for our neighbors. They have failed to pay the judgment and we are moving to garnish Mr. Landrud's wages/profits, bank accounts and go after his property and other assets. Mr. Landrud and his crew entered our property without our permission, ran over flower beds, gouged our driveway, littered our backyard with garden debris; and had the audacity to climb trees in our yard without our permission and attempt to trim

Had a line of cedars that were too close together and had become overgrown and entangled. Bryce came out promptly on a Sunday and gave us an educational tutorial on our situation. We were rather vague describing what we wanted and Bryce assured us his crew could make it look pretty. After receiving a VERY reasonable quote for the work, we hired him and his crew came out and did the work very quickly, and indeed make it look better than We ever thought it could.

Hello. My Dad hired Bryce to remove several fir trees last year. Their employees are carless to say the least. They let fire wood fall out of the tree and wreck the side of the house, and destroyed my moms rose garden that my Grandmother planted when she was alive. Overall the least respectful and most carless tree service Ever. They charged my parents $5000. that's $1666.00 per tree with no stump grinding! I just hired Canzler Tree Service to remove and grind one big fir and they only charged me $500. If you need work tree work done hire anyone other than this company's employees!!!

Bryce came out to look at a large Douglas Fir on our property that had been leaking very sticky sap this past summer. Bryce immediately recognized what was going on with the tree, as he had seen this situation many times before He explained what was going on inside the tree very thoroughly. Fortunately, there was nothing seriously wrong with the tree, and Bryce said there was no reason to cut it down, although his company can do that, if necessary. He could have said that the tree should come down in an attempt to get more business for himself, and I wouldn't have known the difference

Excellent tree care. They've done stump grinding, pruned, and cut down a huge cedar tree for us. The team is friendly and does professional work at a fair price. I contacted Thundering Oak for a hazard review of trees around our property. With the recent winds I was concerned about some of the trees around our property. He showed up right on time.
Bryce came out and we talked about my concerns and we went around and he educated me about the trees. He was very knowledgeable and helped me understand the possible hazards and what to look for in the spring.
He addressed all my concerns and I was very happy we were able to connect. If/when I have future tree needs Thundering Oaks will be on the top of my list.

We setup an appointment for 8:30 in the morning, Brice (the arborist that was coming out) called and let me know he was late, which was great but I had to leave for work and he said he can do it without me being there. Called about a large cedar tree in our yard at our house in Federal Way, WA. The tree seemed to be sick with some dry branches. Bryce came out for a diagnostic visit, which he provided at no charge, and gave us the benefit of his expert knowledge.
