Many IL, MA, and WI homeowners are frustrated with their high energy bills and are tired of paying for nuclear and coal. Qualifying homeowners can go solar with zero up-front cost and pay less every month than they would otherwise pay their utility. Certasun helps homeowners go solar and start saving on their electricity bills.
Wisconsin solar incentives are available through the Focus On Energy program and come in the form of a rebate check after your system is installed. The federal government also offers an incentive for residential solar, in the form of a tax credit. For systems installed in 2021, the credit is 26% of the cost of the system.
Your Certasun solar energy system converts sunlight into electrical energy you can use in your home. 1 Solar panels, which convert sunlight into direct current (DC) electricity (similar to what comes out of batteries). 2 Inverters or microinverters, which convert the DC electricity into the alternating current (AC) electricity used by the grid and distributed in your home.

Certasun was great to work with for our solar project. Excellent communication from initial discussion to the end of the process, with knowledgeable representatives who were always able to answer my questions. High quality products and in-house installation with great warranties for a very competitive price relative to other local vendors we got quotes from. Would strongly recommend meeting with this company if you are considering getting residential solar panels.

After a thorough series of conversations with Bill in sales during which he pointed out pitfalls of a contractor I had already selected and my decision to cancel that contract, I appreciated all the more that selection of the "best" of the four solar contractors I was working with was no small task. Certasun made the process of getting solar panels incredibly easy. They did so much of the leg work - and only involved us when they really needed to. The installation took a couple of days, and so far, about a month later, everything has been working great. The consultations were very informative, and they helped us understand the tax credits we would be getting. After install - we got an app that allows us to monitor our electricity usage and solar power generated, which is really cool to see.

Very easy experience from start to finish with CertaSun. The online sales consultation was efficient and answered all of my questions. Subsequent site visits were convenient and timely. Installation took one day and went off without a hitch. Communication from the main office has been consistently clear and timely. My panels were installed a couple of weeks ago with inspection and activation about a week later. Still waiting on full connectivity for net metering, but, you know... ComEd. Obviously I've only had a very short experience with the array itself, but the process of getting it installed

Purchasing a solar panel system through Certasun was a great experience. Having solar panels installed on your home is far from a quick process, but every person I worked with at Certasun throughout the process was 1st class. I was initially approached by another company who promised me the world with solar. I wanted to go solar, but my village did not allow installations so the whole sale came to a screeching halt. An entire year went by while the process was approved by the village and in that time I was able to do some research and found that the best panels available were actually make by SunPower. The other company could not offer a panel with output and characteristics similar to Certasun's panels. The other company would also not allow me to purchase my own srec, but Certasun assisted me in purchasing

I have never in my life talked about another business when competing for business. To say a company is not reputable or "going out of business" so you can get business is ridiculous. Or to say "I guess you don't care about going with the best option". Amateur salesman, Amateur tactics, amateur business. Almost $4600 more than the competition as well which again makes me feel they only care about profit and not about the homeowner. Do not do business here....you will be lied too by amateur wastes of time.

We received several bids from a variety of different solar vendors and decided to go with Certasun because of they offered the best value system that was proposed. Of course it didn't hurt that the sales person was professional, honest, and not pushy/smarmy (which I cannot say the same for some of the other vendors who provided a bid).
I am pleased with the responsiveness of the team, and thrilled with the end result. While I would have loved to have had the system installed a bit sooner (catch those June rays :)), the time from signature to installation was still reasonable.

We had a great experience with Certasun. We chose them over other companies because of the quality of their panels (SunPower) and the effort they took to answer our questions at every step of the process. They took care of all the approvals and permits and the installation only took one day. We now have very attractive panels on our roof that are generating electricity for us throughout the day.
