Since 1987, our mission has been simple. We design and weave quality rugs while holding true to our commitment to use earth-friendly fibers, dyes and give back whenever possible. We search around the world to bring you fresh influences, timeless patterns in subtle colorsways, unexpected silhouettes, global flavors and inspirations, custom capability to satisfy every whim and we only work with partners who share the same beliefs.

Our custom designed rugs have gained reputation for their excellent workmanship and quality. They are initially drafted by our in-house designers and hand woven in our studios abroad by our team of expert weavers. Medallion's collection of contemporary rug designs, many of our own creation, integrate ancient and modern aesthetics but are created one at a time using the same techniques as our traditional rugs. The beautiful and time intensive process involves the artisans using their skilled hands to weave vibrant colors and patterns.

Whether for a sale, insurance coverage or simply to satisfy your curiosity, an expert appraisal of your rug can be enlightening. Amir Shiranian, owner of Medallion Gallery is an expert appraiser. He has the necessary qualifications to provide you with official written appraisals for all your owned rugs.

To preserve your rugs' beauty and value, we recommend having them expertly "green cleaned" at Medallion Gallery every two years. If the rug is in a high foot-trafficked area, consider having it cleaned once a year. Inspection First, a pre-inspection photograph of your rug is taken to record its condition on arrival, and its fibers are tested for mold, bacteria and any other problems.
