We are a 2nd generation family owned and operated business for over 20 years. We are here to educate and help you make the right decisions for all your rug needs. We are very laid back and easy going. Our very select inventory has been gathered by Mr. Varter Shirinian one by one. We have a very large selection of both new and antique rugs from every part of the world that produces oriental rugs.
We offer this service for both for insurance and resale values. We offer appraisals either in-store or in-home for as many rugs as necessary in writing for each piece. Our hand washing is much more time consuming but the end result of this process is not achievable by other cleaning methods. We strive and have achieved a deep cleaning method to remove all stains and guarantee removal of any odor that may have been left from pets.

I am beyond thrilled with Varter's Oriental Rug cleaning services. I had two Oriental rugs that needed cleaning and they came back better than I could've imagined. Clean, fresh smelling, and they even feel better underfoot due to the deep hand-cleaning that they provide. Also, excellent customer service with friendly pick up and delivery. We had been holding off on cleaning this rug we had gotten as a gift for 5 years, and we're recommended to go to Varter's. I haven't seen this rug look this shiny and clean even when we first got it! Plus, they were very safe, I'm quite anxious about Covid-19 but felt their procedure was appropriate and well organized. Excellent service from an excellent business run by friendly people :)

I have had the pleasure of buying several rugs from Varter’s over the past year. Whenever I walk into the store I immediately feel welcomed and attended to in the most friendly, thoughtful and attentive way. The lovely owner as well as every employee I have interacted with there has been nothing but delightful to work with. On multiple occasions I have given vague descriptions of what i was looking for and they have been so generous and patient with their time, going through piles and piles of rugs trying to find just the right style, color and size, even allowing me to take home multiple rugs

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Varter's. We had two rugs cleaned when we moved apartments, one 100 years old that I had not taken care of, the other a kilim rug I loved the was heavily stained. Isguhi was incredibly nice and helpful from the beginning as well as transparent about pricing options (I was nervous about the cost). The rugs were picked up and delivered in great condition by a super nice and helpful man who gave advice and talked through what they'd done. This is the kind of place that reminds you why small businesses are so special. Kind and honest

I had a few Oriental rugs that were over 50 years old, and let's just say I'm not the most meticulous housekeeper, so they looked pretty ratty and tired. After the rugs made a visit to Varter's, they came out looking brand new. In one case, there was an ink stain they could not remove chemically so they removed a bit of fabric and rewove it with new matching wool. I can't find that spot now. Really amazing workmanship and attention to detail.

I found an old rug in a basement that has been transformed thanks to Varter's. And the price was very good! I had called another shop that quoted me 5x the price for the cleaning! At Varter's, they cleaned and repaired my rug, and it is literally sparkling. These are very honest good people. Couldn't recommend more highly!

Varter's Rug was friendly and professional. They looked at your rugs, which desparately needed attention. They explained exactly what would be done to clean and refresh the rugs, how long it would take and what it would cost upfront. The service was fantastic. When I picked up the rugs they showed me the finished product- both rugs came out great! I highly recommend working with this group.
