Artin was great! He told me he could fix my pool pump when others told me I needed a new one at 5 times the cost. I ended up getting a new vari speed, after all, which Artin and Co. installed. I used them a second time for a pool light replacement. Excellent, honest, and fair priced service from nice people.

My friend attempted to use Artin for her pool in Encino. At first she liked and trusted him- The key phrase being AT FIRST. At first Artin seemed completely organized, reasonably priced, on top of every detail.

The owner of this company, named Artin, worked/built my mother's pool in Glendale. Artin is dishonest, not communicative, over promises, falls short, lies, falls short and lies again. He is the most dishonest and crooked businessman I have come into contact in my 49 years on this planet. He says a lot of things he never does. He promises prices he can not deliver on. He gives you dates and times that he NEVER shows up to. You will go days, weeks and months with 0 contact from Artin. He is the worst business man I have ever come into contact with and he should not be building pools.

Artin and his crew remodeled our outdated, leaky, concrete jungle pool into a backyard oasis for our family. Artin is easy to work with. He is responsive via text and spends time at the job site answering all questions and providing professional advice. We are very happy with the end result and would highly recommend him to others.

Artin and his team built my pool last summer and I could not be happier with the work and his team. Artin was alway prompt, answered email and texts immediately, thoughtful, and just a pleasure to work with. He was great about giving me updates on the progress and when there was an issue with the pump location he quickly fixed the issue. I cannot say enough about Artin and his crew, they are fantastic! I have already referred them to numerous people. Artin will hopefully be starting another project at my home in the near future. He is just wonderful!!

I received an email from Athlon Pool Company about a week ago and was so disappointed that I decided to post to Yelp again. I had asked for a discount for all the mishaps that had happened and his answer was no discount and added "leaves us with a balance of $3,750.00
you asked for a discount,
I believe, you not finding me from Yelp and leaving me a 3 star review, is a punishment enough."
I think anyone who would write this to a customer should have his review updated again and all stars taken away. So I've now changed my last review and hope that many people see this.

As a response to Athlon's reply to my review:
I never insisted that just the bulb be replaced nor did I disagree with doing the job according to code. I just needed them to take a look at my pool light to see what needed to be done...that's it. I was told they would stop by and they never showed. Simple as that.

Athlon did a pool inspection for me. Artin was very professional and friendly, prompt, and thorough. He even showed me how the pool works, and gave tips for maintenance. There was no upsell or anything like that, he just came for the inspection, did what we needed, and sent the report right away. Highly recommended for pool inspections!

We made an appointment for our consultation for complete pool renovation they came in very professional Mr Gamer he took the measurements and did the estimate and went over options of the customized pool in the backyard designs. The process started very smoothly and then the rains happened however in the process they were very very professional and carry it all workingas if there were no delays. I sent a message to this business inquiring about putting a new pool in my backyard. Artin called me back within 24 hours and we set up an appointment for 07/06 at 6PM for him to come to my house to review plans etc... He never showed up and never called me to tell me he would not be able to make it. Do not want to spend thousands of dollars with a company that does not make a meeting.

Athlon and Artin (owner) are amazing! When I bought my place a year ago, I needed someone to come out and scope out the work the pool needed. Artin was honest and straightforward and, best of all, doesn't try to up sell. He has since replastered the pool, exchanged out my old pump for a variable speed, and since I liked his work so much, he helped design and build my bbq area. He's quick to answer questions and come thru if anything is wrong. Only caveat is he's very very busy, so projects might run a little bit longer than expected, but the results are worth it! I had a small problem with my pool's saline system. Called close to 10 guys. They either didn't return my call, or weren't interested, or never showed up. One guy tried to sell me a $3400 upgrade right over the phone. Not Artin. He diagnosed the problem right over the phone. He came out the next day and replaced the faulty part. He charged for the part and only $75 for the house call. Outstanding!

Athlon just converted my pool to salt water. He and his team did a great job. They were very straight forward and honest about pricing and the work was performed quickly and exactly as promised. Compared to so many contractors who are so often unreliable or flakey, Artin is a breath of fresh air.

I've been using Athlon Pool Company for about 3 years now and they have been perfect since day 1. I've had many services done on my pool besides my weekly cleaning and they have never once made me doubt their ability to do the work nor did they try to overcharge me. The guys that come are always alert, well mannered, always clean up and lock up before they leave.

Our pool had an issue with suction and our Kreepy Krauly hasn't worked well in months. Then, the pool motor that we bought from Leslie's Pool Supply broke and they offered $330 for a replacement part. When all hope seemed lost, we found Athlon Pool Company!
