Finding Matt at Pool Pros has been one of my greatest achievements this past month! After two failed attempts to find a weekly pool service that could effectively maintain our saltwater pool, I needed to hire a true pool pro to help guide us on next steps. Matt responded quickly to my request and came over the next day to assess our pool and equipment. Our salt cell needed to be replaced, which he had with him, so he replaced. Our check valve also needed to be replaced, so he ordered it for us. He also replaced a few O rings.

We had them come out for a startup consultation. Even over the phone, I could tell Matt had great expertise and I felt comfortable asking questions. We had consultations with a couple of other companies and we were not confident they could do as good a job. Cesar didn't rush the startup which is better for the plaster/mini

We were shopping for a new, on-going pool servicing person, and even though Matt couldn't currently take us on, he gave some great advice on the state of our pool, what we need to service, quoted some prices and gave us some honest feedback that definitely wasn't trying to upsell us on anything. Always appreciate when someone is transparent

I'm a first-time pool owner and definitely needed a crash course (splash course?) on pool maintenance and how all the components worked. Matt came out and went through my entire Jandy system and was very patient with all my questions and noob status. I recently booked him a second time for an air filter service. He explained what was wrong, cleaned and fixed only what needed to be fixed without trying to make the problem seem worse than it actually was. I feel like I struck gold finding Matt as our pool pro - and I have Yelp to thank for finding him! As a first time pool owner, we knew nothing about how to 'start up' or maintain a pool - and there is a lot to know, from the equipment to the chemical balancing. Our pool builder finished the build and then left it up to us to take it from there, which can be overwhelming as a first-timer. Luckily, I found Matt, and he has been our pool guru. Matt was great! Showed up on time, did a beautiful job of removing our cracked mastic (deck caulk) and replacing it. Left the area clean. Reasonable and fair pricing. About five minutes before closing on Saturday night I called them to see if there was any way they could help us out. Our pool heater had been broken for two weeks and our normal pool repair man kept pushing off the fix. Matt was able to come out the next day even though they aren't open Sundays, after hearing how we normally use the pool daily and hadn't been able to since the 50 degree water would freeze the kids. We just moved and needed a new pool company. A friend recommended Matt at Pool Pros, and we feel like we really lucked out! He was prompt and professional the first visit, and has shown up like clock-work every week since. I would give six stars if I could! We had a pool heater malfunction. First tech from another company spent 5 minutes and said a bunch of technical jargon and it would be 1500 to replace "the circuit board."
Called Pool Pros, they answered promptly, found time to come out the same morning, were very professional, very knowledge, and took the time to both fix & explain the problem... which ended up being a 100$ sensor.
I will definitely be calling PoolPros for any future needs!!

Matt was outstanding. Short call time, he came out and installed a pool filter in record time.
Even more, I had a sudden issue with pump pressure and he talked me through the fix over the phone at no charge. Saved me a major headache and expense.

Matt Stern, the owner of Pool Pros, is the best! I contacted him just a couple days before I needed start up services for my new pool (because my pool company didn't tell me until then) and he was there within 48 hours to get things going and explain things to me (because I really knew nothing and my pool builders didn't do a great job of educating me). I decided to sign up for weekly servicing of my pool by Matt and his company because I felt like I would be in good hands with them, and I was right! Everyone told me that maintaining a pool is a huge hassle and I might want to rethink
