A request for a mold inspection is what usually takes place when a person suspects or has smelled or seen fungal growth at their residence or place of business. There are important factors to consider when consumers seek to have their home "inspected" for mold or get a mold air test. Mold inspections need to be performed by a licensed mold assessment company, mold assessment consultant, or mold assessment technician in the state of Texas.
Most testing and mold assessments usually start with an inspection (gathering of information) followed by an investigation strategy. The American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists publication, Bioaerosols Assessment and Control, points out that the strategies used to study bioaerosol-related problems can play a role in how completely they understand the what is happening in a residence or work environment.
As an expert in mold testing and sampling, Culley Enviro serves all of Dallas/Fort Worth as well as Houston. The best source of information regarding mold testing and sampling is the ACGIH Bioaerosols Assessment and Control publication. The first thing you learn about testing is not how to take a proper sample, but that there are no Threshold Limit Values (TLVs) or Personal Exposure Limits (PELs) for exposure to mold.
When many people see black mold growing, they are mostly concerned by the appearance of it. If a certified mold inspector shows pictures of different types of mold, they usually always prefer the one that has colonized the smallest patch, or one that is the least concentrated. But it's not necessarily the mold itself that's the biggest problem.

Culley Enviro was highly recommended to me when mold was discovered in my mother's 2nd floor apartment closet in Dec 2015. Ms. Teresa G came to the apartment within days of my calling Culley. She explained the process from start to finish, so there were no surprises; and took mold samples to have them analyzed. Mother had multiple leaks in her apartment between Dec 2015 and Feb 2018. They produced various types of mold toxins that are a health hazard to my mother, and have affected some of her attendants.

If you are needing a mold assessment you can stop looking. Culley Enviro is nothing short of AMAZING. After calling several companies, talked down to and laughed at, or interrupted and quoted ridiculously high prices, I started to feel hopeless. I was given Culley Enviros number from a remediation company who promised Culley Enviro was the best in the area and would no doubt be able to help. When I first called I spoke to Bob Culley. Would leave 10 stars if we could. Teresa and Bob are fantastic to work with. They have been so accommodating to our family, and have really helped ease our fears about the mold we’ve had in our home as a result of construction defects from our original builder. From testing, air quality, protocol and remediation they have been there whenever we need them. Prices are very reasonable and they definitely know what they are doing. Teresa and Mr. Bob Culley were a true Godsend.
