Nortech technician came to fix (1. Freezing 2. Clean mold on water dispenser area) for our refrigerator. The technician fixed the freezing problem, but he had no clue on how to open the water dispensing unit of Kenmore Elite refrigerator. In fact, he made several dents on the unit in attempting to open the water dispenser unit. Then, he said that he is going to go back and find someone else who can come over to do the job. We had decided it was time for a furnace tune up so we looked up HVAC companies in Seattle on Google and decided to go with Nortech Heating & Cooling Services because they had a high rating. We were able to make an appointment online, which was definitely convenient since we both work full time jobs during the week. The technician showed up near the end and after checking out our furnace and letting us know what we were looking at for costs, we decided to go ahead and have him do the yearly tune up. We had an emergency heating problem so we called Norman. He sent out one of his furnace tech that found a problem with our furnace blower. They did a great job repairing our furnace. The tech was friendly and polite. He was able to fix the problem and our furnace is working just fine. We recommend them highly.

Our AC died right before the hottest recorded day in Seattle history. I called every HVAC place we could find, and I wasn't able to find anything earlier than 3 weeks out—for the places that called me back at all.

This place is a total scam. I own add a ball arcade in Fremont and our regular repair guy was busy so I called Nortech , that was a big mistake. Nice guy shows up and spends 15mins recharging the gas on our walk in and charges us $759 . I asked what they charge hourly and he responds "we just charge by the job". Taking advantage of business that been shut down for a year and are just getting back on there feet is messed up. Ask them what they will charge before you start the job.

I had a good experience with this outfit in early 2020, followed by a terrible one last week. I understand COVID and holiday shipping delays, but communication was poor and after having to call them for updates several times, I was told to "call someone else if you don't like it." It's not their fault that the shipping of my part was delayed; it is their fault that I never heard from them again. They just abandoned my repair three days before Christmas.
