DON'T plant trees near the lateral field - their roots eventually will grow into the lateral system. Frank was hired to inspect the septic system at a home my daughter and FSIL were buying. He performed the inspection and determined a new system was needed. The homeowner hired them and them installed a new system which we assume was done correctly. However, he and his crew ruined the lawn, shrubs and other landscaping. My daughter complained… and sent a letter listing all of the damage done: gray stone spread throughout the lawn, large boulders also strewn around the yard, plants buried and ruined, walkway placed askew, topsoil was buried and grass seed didn’t take, grade of lawn
