Steve Shook Painting was referred to be my a friend who raved about their attention to detail. I am equally pleased with how efficient this team is. They were meticulous at protecting the floors and furniture, everything taped down safely. We were unable to move out during the process and they were great at working around us being in their way. At the end Jesus walked me around with a roll of tape to mark off any area's of concern, very thorough. They were on time, clean and the job came out beautifully. My second time working with Steve and his team and I feel like it just gets better and better!!! This time around we had the whole inside of our house repainted. This included door frames, a two story living room, and a couple different paint changes. Kalena, the office manager, is VERY responsive. Usually within an hour of emailing her I hear back from her! She and Steve were very patient with me! I had Steve quote me for doing a shiplap wall on my stairway. Originally I decided against it but then thought I should just go for it. When I first called them they had a three week lead time just for quoting the job but Kalena at the office made the effort to call back and accommodate me sooner as soon as they had some cancellations.

He knew exactly what my wife was looking for and the quality of work we wanted. He promised that he is the best company for the job and he delivered. These guys go the extra mile to see that the job is done right. I had my exterior completely done. I was hoping that I would get more this time than I did from the last painters that painted my house. I got exactly what Steve said I would get. They did a superb job. For example, my fascia boards were in decent shape, but they sanded all of them anyways to give me a better job, then they primed all of them; They also applied 2 separate coats of paint on them. There's a reason Steve and his team have a solid 5 star rating, I haven't experienced professionalism and workmanship like this in years. I would sit and stare at his team fluidly handle various tasks related to the job and it was very impressive. The price is extremely reasonable and honestly, and after seeing the work done, worth every dollar.
Steve himself came over to my house, explained various details and nuances, took his time, and then sent over the quote. He's booked a couple weeks out, but it's worth the wait, because his team literally finished in 2.5 days for an entire house work job

Just wanted to give a big shout out to Steve Shook Painting, located in Fontana. We had purchased a new front door with a white base coat and lead glass installed in the middle. We needed to conform with our association code which are red doors. They came early, explained what they would do and answered a few questions we had. Anthony left and Jesus was the painter. He explained in detail what he would do, sand, tape off to protect, then paint. Since the door is red in color, a total of 3 coats were needed, with time in between each coat to dry. I found Steve Shook Painting on Yelp & got an estimate, which came in right between 2 others that we had gotten. My husband & I liked Steve right from the start. He pointed out things to us that should be done before we got a chance to say anything. That was what sold us on Shook painting right away. When the other painters came to give estimates, we had to keep asking about each thing that we wanted to have done. Genuinely impressive experience. Steve discussed all repairs with me in person and was the only estimate that recommended specific repairs and even told me what to look for in the repairs if I went with another company. They started earlier than expected and finished the entire job in three days.
The communication from the crew was fantastic and our house looks better than we had hoped. They weren't the cheapest estimate, but you definitely will get what you pay for here. I recommend them without any hesitation.

This has been a great experience. Everyone was pleasant, from the folks who answer the phone to the workers themselves. We were in the midst of a backyard remodel when we got the quote. Part of it was for the perimeter block walls. Even though they were booked up for a few months, they came and painted the walls early so that the landscapers could do their work. Worked well for the painters as well to not have to work around the landscape. When it came time to do the house, garage, and front yard walls, they did a great job and were responsive to my questions. The job finished today, we are pleased

This is an additional endorsement of this company. Steve's crew just completed the removal of the ship lap wood siding on the front of my home and replaced it with Hardie board and painted to match the rest of the house. His crew also painted an interior wall above a stairwell that I couldn't safely reach.

Outstanding craftsmanship! The workers were particularly attentive and friendly. They missed NOTHING! This is the third time I've had my house painted in the last twenty years and Shook Painting is, by far, the easiest to work with and the most professional of them all.
