The first step to new counter tops by World Stone is to estimate your square footage. You can either fill out a World Stone Quote Form or call the location nearest to you to have a sales person help you. You will need to select a granite, marble, or quartz color and get us a simple diagram of what your counter top layout will look like.

World Stone ONLY received one star for the actual installation of the granite countertops. The two gentlemen were professional and did a great job (two pieces weren't cut correctly, and they are need to return). The company policy for payment and plumbing is unacceptable. World Stone requires full payment of the job prior to installation. At that point, I should have went somewhere else. I've had contracting work done before, and had never paid in full. That was my fault. Also, they do not disconnect or connect plumbing. Here are my issues I did not agree to:

After looking at all options for granite or quartz in the Pinehurst area a friend of mine recommended World Stone. Jamie was great working with me before our arrival. They actually have more options than they do online, it's worth the drive to Sanford. They also are the only ones that use laser to measure locally. Their price was so good we decided to have them also do another bathroom and it was still cheaper and nicer than the stone I saw in Pinehurst!

UPDATED TO 3 stars.
Initial install included very unacceptable quality of work (misaligned drain and faucet holes). Poor communication throughout process and they wouldn’t return calls. After we first raised the issue one of their representatives came to the house, concurred that the holes (they drilled) were not aligned but then tried to convince us that “visually, it’s perfect”. They did not follow up on that visit nor return any calls (I left at least 5 voicemails over the course of two weeks).

We had an absolute great experience with World Stone! We absolutely love our countertops! I wish the company had more of a gallery to look at so that we could decide which backsplash to do with the quartz that we went with. Other than that, no complaints at all, we would recommend World Stone to anybody that is looking for countertop

First of all, price is better than other places that we shopped. Second, Jamie (Sales) really knows the business inside and out and Denise (Scheduler) has the timeline running like clockwork.
We shopped around and found that World Stone, out-the-door, was the best price for quality. We even upgraded to Quartz for all four vanities because the price was well below what we expected.
Preparation: We ordered vanities that we put together. After making sure that they were level, plumb, and square; we scheduled for measurement. The guy that came out laser measured all vanities, took note of exactly

I have had a great experience with my countertops !! I worked with Denise and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us ! Everything we needed before, during, and after, she made sure was taken care of promptly. I had many many questions and she always answered them professionally and never made us wait. WARNING!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!
Quality of work unacceptable!
World Stone put a seam in the middle of my counter. Said it was the only way to do it. They then told me that the pieces at the seam were from the same cut of granite. It's obvious something went terrible wrong! It looks absolutely horrible! I paid $2000 upgrade for the nicer stone.
I called and gave them an opportunity to fix their mistake. The owner said he was willing to replace the 1 piece for $1700 AND a removal fee!
I've had 3 other companies look at my granite and couldn't believe that World Stone would install something looking

Every aspect of dealing with Denise at World Stone was perfect! She took care of us and answered all of our (many) questions we had. We truly felt like she went the extra mile to help us.
The installers that were sent were very professional. I could tell they knew exactly what they were doing, they also wasted no time getting it done! Our kitchen looks great!
When it is time for us to update our bathroom we will definitely give Denise a call!

We recently had new granite counter tops put in our outdated kitchen and the transformation is absolutely gorgeous. The staff at World Stone were very professional and did a fabulous job installing the new counter tops and the installers were very careful during the installation process, as well, very courteous.
