Ian was very professional and friendly. The work was done in less than a day. Our cabinets had some water damage and they now look brand new. We had talked to several contractors about having the cabinets refinished and had estimates ranging from $20,000 to $25,000. When we saw Ian on Angie's List, we were a little skeptical but decided to give him a try since it was Angie's List and the reviews were great.

So glad we did. Saved a ton of money and results are amazing. Would definitely use Ian again. Deep cleaned all of our oak cabinets inside and out, repaired those doors that needed fixing, refinished with 4 coats of satin finish. Awesome, the cabinetry looks like new! Ian came out early in the AM, protected everything that was not to be treated.

He cleaned the cabinets and all facings (removed handles first), let that dry, then did any repairs before refinishing. Kitchen cabinets look like new! Thanks Ian for the great job you did on our cabinets. I am amazed how good they look, and I can't believe how quickly you were able to do the job.

What is the difference between cabinet refacing and cabinet refinishing? The biggest difference is cost. Cabinet refacing is the replacement of doors and hardware on your existing cabinets. In contrast cabinet refinishing uses your existing doors and hardware and we restore your old cabinets back to new.

We have original maple veneer kitchen cabinets from 1954. We LOVE the simplistic beauty of them, and wanted to bring these classics back to life. We spoke with different companies, received quotes, and decided to go with Ian and his business Cabinet Renovations. Our kitchen cabinets had alot of sun damage, and Ian was very honest about the process and expected outcome. He was very easy to communicate with, arrived at our house to work when he said he would, and completed the job within the time he had told us. We could not be happier with the final result!!! Our 67-year-old kitchen cabinets have

I spoke with Ian about my project and realized the process he uses was perfect for my kitchen project. I love my wooden cabinets, but after years of abuse they were water damaged and stained from dirty fingers and age. He came in a in two days stripped all the cabinet doors and drawer fronts and they look better than new! I love the soft golden tones. Ian was professional, prompt, affordable, and very response. He left my kitchen clean and my cabinets in beautiful condition. Thanks, Ian!

Couldn’t be happier with our cabinets paint work. We had beautiful but very dated red cherry cabinets that we painted off white (almost white grey) and they turned out amazing. It’s immediately apparent that Ian is a very seasoned professional, he offered strength forward and transparent pricing, timely services and great advice. I couldn’t recommend him more! We are very happy we went with Ian.

We just had our kitchen cabinets restored after approximately 21 years of use. It was a lot of work, but Ian Dubois of Seattle Cabinet Renovations did an outstanding job. They look beautiful. Ian finished on time, three days of labor (and one day of drying). Ian was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He also helped us learn a lot of new stuff as well! He was meticulous and caring about the quality of his work and fair in what he charged. We strongly recommend Ian for anyone wanting to make their cabinets as beautiful (or more) as they were when you bought them.

I was extremely pleased with the outcome of the color change. The cabinets in my rental property were the typical 2001 golden oak color and badly in need of a refinish. The kitchen and both bathrooms are now a modern white and look brand new. The pricing was straight forward, and every aspect of the job was explained in advance. There were no surprises. Ian was also extremely flexible as I had inadvertently given him the wrong dates that the tenancy ended and the property would be available. He adjusted his schedule to make it work and get the job done, which was much appreciate. I will most definitely

I needed updated cabinets in a rental house and contacted Ian after seeing reviews of his work. I was so happy with the results! The cabinets look amazing. Photos don’t do it justice and a new countertop will make it great. So glad I did this instead of buying new cabinets. Next stop, my home.

Refinish all cabinets in our kitchen. Pricing is based on the number of openings, door, panel, drawer, etc. Included is all the surrounding framing. We had 52 openings. We are very pleased with the result. This project requires that you remove everything in your kitchen. It is a great opportunity to clean everything and you should do that before the masking begins. This project requires significant effort on the homeowner's part. It took 2 days for the contractor to remove all the doors, drawer fronts, the hardware and to mask the areas that would not be painted. Painting took 1/2 day and another

Absolutely above and beyond quality and service from Ian DuBois and Cabinet Renovations! Earlier this year we were approaching the planned listing date to sell our house. We made a last minute decision to have the original “pickled” oak cabinets refinished. Ian agreed to take on the project (even while working a trade show at the same time). Their pricing was competitive, and Ian did a great job of explaining the cost. He also offered to take on some extra jobs, including the main floor powder room and utility room, plus he supplied advice and assistance with the cabinet hardware. The results

Our kitchen cabinets – cherry, with a moderately light, golden-honey stain -- were looking ratty after years of daily use. They were structurally solid, but they no longer looked good, particularly around virtually all the edges, where moisture had taken a toll.
We decided refinishing was the way to go, so we contacted Seattle Cabinet Renovations, and met Ian. We liked his approach to pricing, and decided the cost was reasonable, in light of all the wood surfaces he would be refinishing. He started the job when he said he would, and he finished when he said he would. I was stunned that he could
