Services
Asphalt is exposed to the sun, rain and snow, and chemicals from oil and gasoline; these all help to wear down the asphalt. The oxidation of the surface causes the asphalt to dry and become brittle; leading to the erosion of the top layer and the appearance of larger stones and small cracks on the surface.
It is preferred that you pay at the time of service. If no one will be home, you can leave payment in an envelope taped to the front door and the crew will pick it up when they come. A receipt will be left at the home. We do accept credit card payments, but there is a 4.5% fee that is associated with most credit card charges.

They do not disappoint in any way, on time and excellent high quality work. They do work the details, and compact the asphalt very well. My original builders driveway asphalt was much thinner than expected and tended to crack every year, no matter how much sealcoating and repair we did. This new driveway is done like it should have been and I expect it to last a couple of decades, if not more, with regular sealcoating very other year.

I had my driveway seal coated for the first time by Guardian, and I am very pleased with the way it turned out. The quote that Guardian gave me was the best one that I received from a total of five quotes and was very reasonable for the job that was done. They responded quickly to all questions that I had, and I plan to use them again when it is time to reseal coat my driveway.

I am a property manager for Apartment Solutions in Naperville. One of our apartment buildings needed some asphalt work in the parking lot and on the aprons. I've used Guardian for a few years now for sealcoating my long asphalt driveway. They have always been responsive and timely. Most importantly, the work crews have always been very careful. I have abutting walkways and decorative stone emplacements. The crews have always kept the sealer on the driveway and off the neighboring abutments. I recommend Guardian highly.

Moved into a new house. The resurfacing had been neglected. The guardian had good reviews and an easy estimate process. They had the absolute best price, unbelievable in fact. So I went with them. It was a professional, great job. They cleaned away all the old crumbled top, cleaned and removed the grass from the drive and trimmed back the grass from the edges, then laid the resurfacing. Every time I need this done, they are who I'm calling. If you are in a rush, they might not be for you. But I tell you, you cannot buy the stuff to do the work cheaper yourself. Super impressed.

Fantastic value, quality and customer service! I sent a request for a quote via Yelp after 6 PM on a Tuesday evening. Within one hour I had an email asking for a very little information for the driveway sealing quote. The next morning I had a quote completed and scheduled an appointment for the following day. The whole 48 hours I had requested a quote, received the quote, setup an appointment and had my driveway sealed. The service was top notch every step of the way and the quality of work is amazing. The borders and edges of the driveway are perfect. The value for the service is unreal

I had them do my driveway after I bought my home in Rolling Meadows. They arrived at 7:20 AM and were loading up their trucks to leave at 12:30 PM. They did a great job and the driveway looks fantastic. Even my village inspector agreed they did a good job.
The only hiccup was that their large asphalt dump truck broke a good-sized branch off the maple tree in my front yard when it raised its bed to dump the hot asphalt. I let Amy, my salesperson, know and when Rafael came to pick up the check for the work later that evening, he used my ladder and saw and cut the jagged branch off where I asked

Just had Guardian out for the second time, and they're 2 for 2 -- another perfect job. The job was scheduled and completed quickly. They thoroughly coated the driveway without getting any sealant on our sidewalks or paver walkway. And they had an informative leave-behind with information about their process and the materials used. My formerly tattered-looking driveway now looks flat, shiny and new again, like a driveway Zamboni just came and healed every crack, stain and crevice. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Guardian for driveway asphalt sealing. Very clear and smooth scheduling process. The crew arrived at the time they conveyed. They use a great product but are very sloppy even when guiding them. Asked to bring an edger brush (6-8 inch wide brush) to cut out bad angels on driveway. Told me he doesn't have one or need one. I said, "Are you sure because you just got it all over". Left globs of sealer I had to have them fixed. Coming from someone that grew up in the industry of seal coating and asphalt I know what to look for.

For some reason, I was under the impression that it would cost me at least a couple grand to improve the looks of my well worn driveway after moving into our new home. Fast forward four years when I find out Guardian will sealcoat my driveway for a mere $110! The before and after pictures tell the rest of the story, but if you're looking for sealcoating, Guardian can't be beat. They provided an estimate the day after my inquiry, kept me in the loop on scheduling and completed the work in an impressive way. I couldn't have had a better experience with Guardian.

Problem #2 - I had a drain pipe causing a large half foot speed bump that had risen over time from poor placement and improper drainage that the previous owner never remedied. I needed a complete service company who did more than just seal, they had to work with the town, the grade, the asphalt, laying a new pipe and re building the culvert to my and the town's specifications. We used Guardian to sealcoat our drive last week. I requested the quote online and I included a long list of questions about their services and the product they use for the coating. Kristin responded with a detailed email answering all of my questions and giving me all of the information I needed. The price was fair, too. After looking at Yelp reviews, Facebook reviews and reading some details about the sealcoating product they use (which really is top notch), I decided to hire them for the job.
