My husband and I moved to Torrance from Northern California 2 weeks ago and we were struggling moving the heavier and bulkier items into our apartment seeing as we live in an old building with no elevator and happen to be on the 3rd floor and my husband has health issues that physically limit his abilities at times (though he sure toughs it out). When my husband finally hit the point that he just couldn't do it anymore and we were running out of time (he had to leave to take the moving truck back up north) I looked up local moving companies in the area that could help us. OCEAN Moving was THE best! They got back to me right away with a quote. The pricing was very reasonable and their billing software link was easy to use.
The movers arrived on time and they were polite, professional and worked fast. I had some really large furniture to move into a 360 sq foot studio for my son.
I knew he was in good hands when they all left up the coast. The movers didn't leave his apt until all the furniture was arranged perfectly.
What more could you ask of a moving company ...

We are incredibly happy and grateful we went through Ocean Moving. We were so pleased with every aspect of the experience, that I'm typing this 5 minutes after the movers left. We had less than a week to pack and not only did Roman accommodate our schedule last minute, he was very communicative of what to expect and even made sure to call and text ahead of time to let us know the movers were on their way.

We were very pleased with our experience with Ocean Moving and we would recommend them to anyone looking to move! We stumbled upon Ocean Moving while walking in our old neighborhood of Redondo Beach. When we stopped to talk to the guys we were impressed with their friendliness and how carefully they were packing things into the truck. We scheduled a walk thru and Roman came over to assess our house and provided a quote for the job. He was very thorough and provided all the details and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this company for moving. My wife and I have had bad luck with moving companies in the past. We were so pleased with Roman and his team. We had 4 guys move us from a 2nd story apartment to a 3 story townhome. There were a LOT of stairs. These guys hustled and everything made it from point a to b with no damage to our property or scuffs on the walls. They were extremely efficient and I would use them again in the future. Ocean Movers were wonderful! I had other movers booked and they other movers canceled late on the morning of the move. I called and James took a couple hours and put together a crew to come at 3pm that day. The crew showed up and they were kind, upbeat, and super hard working! They wrapped my furniture carefully, moved quickly and got the move done in 5 hours! I would use them again for any move!

Everything about my experience was great. This was my first time hiring professional movers and I had sticker shock from the rates and estimates I got. Most places estimated it would take 6-8 hours for my items. I read all recent reviews of about 10 companies and decided on two. Our move date was flexible but Ocean had our preferred day available. Their rate was a little higher than the other place, but all the reviews said they were fast and efficient, and I figured a half hour faster would more than make up for the difference.

Worth every last penny & even more! I have used this company twice now, and both times I remain absolutely impressed by the movers' care and efficiency with which they operate. The price is more than reasonable for the excellent service they provide. They finished the job from start to finish in just 2 hours within a 3 hour minimum. Long over due review. Highly recommend these guys for any move. I got a quote and it came to what I was expecting, ended up going with someone else due to it being lose; bad mistake, I had issues with the other company when my move was less then a week away. I contacted Roman to see if he still had availability, and even though it was last minute he managed to work my out of State move in. I can't say enough on how efficient, professional Roman and his crew were.

Ocean Movers are *TEN STARS*!! From the beginning working with them on my big move they were professional, organized, kind, and great communicators. Plus their pricing is fair. I'm very particular about my antiques including my piano and fragile house items but they handled everything with utmost care. We hired Ocean Movers to move our family to the next town over. They were super communicative, professional, speedy and wasted no time at all. Everything was handled with care and they disassembled and reassembled the furniture perfectly. I even had to text message them to ask about the whereabouts of an item I could not locate on a Sunday and they responded promptly. We would recommend them in a heartbeat.

James confirmed my move via text, giving me an arrival time between 8-10am. On the day of the move, I waited until 10, then called to find out that he did not schedule my move because nothing was confirmed. I got a full quote and arrival time from him, now I'm stuck without a mover, and all my things packed. This is such BS. He confirmed with both me and my husband. We were going to pay cash. Now he's saying he didn't schedule anything because we didn't pay a deposit, and we didn't give any addresses. Here are screenshots of everything, including addresses. Don't trust

Last week my best friend had to relocate his apartment within downtown area and I came to help as well. We were very disappointed when movers which he'd booked didn't show up and never called to give us a heads up. Due to some personal matters I had to relocate some of my personal belongings to nearby storage and keep them there for a while. We had a great experience working with Roman and his colleague. We had a pretty small move but it was from Los Feliz to Hacienda Heights so the distance was far. Nonetheless, Roman gave us a really good quote and with all the great reviews on Yelp, we decided to go with him.
Roman was incredibly responsive by email and would reply almost within minutes. I'm guessing he's constantly checking his phone if he's not in the middle of a move, which is nice to know that he's responsive to your needs.

Yes, yes. Yet another 5 star review for this company. Michael on the phone was so great to chat with and paid attention to every detail, patiently answered all my questions (it is already my second time moving with them, and I wanted to make sure that they hadn’t change the policy since then).
