I'm Bob, an independent contractor with over 25 years experience in everything from Painting, Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Masonry, Doors, Windows, Tile, Flooring, cabinet installation, furniture assembly, Power Washing and more. Living in Pennsylvania, but I am from the rocky coast of Maine and have a down-home friendly country-folk personality.

Carpentry Report

Sometimes we never know what we're up against until we show up. This post was previously repaired by someone else and it was by far the strangest post repair I've ever come across. Not only was it an eye-sore, but it was also non effective.

Drywall Repair Report

This clients entire salt-water pool ended up in the basement. The remediation company removed 2-ft x 140-ft of water damaged drywall around this very large basement area. In 10 days we were able to restore it to perfect condition which included, priming, and two coats of paint. This video is a little long, but it's worth the watch if you have the time.

Electrical Report

In this video Bob shows you how he installed a bathroom exhaust fan from the living space which was suppose to be installed from the attic. The client purchased a "new construction" fan as a replacement fan and instead of putting him out by having to reschedule, I installed it and I'll show you how I did it.

Flooring Report

Below you will see several installations that I performed, starting with this one which had four previous floors and the original subfloor which had to be removed first. This was done without the removal of the cabinets. Five layers of flooring had to be removed before we could install the new vinyl planks.

Gutter Cleaning & Repair Report

Gutters are your 2nd line of defense against the elements and if they are not clean and draining properly the damage could be significant. These gutters were cleaned by a company specializing in gutter maintenance, but this difficult to reach area was ignored. I won't ignore your needs and always treat your projects like they are my own.

We want to give a HUGE shout-out to Bob's Home Services LLC for the amazing job they did on our bathroom. Bob and his daughter Kitana took our 15yr + dark,dingy and UGLY bathroom and turned it into something we are not embarrassed to let our friends and family use. It is such a wonderful transformation that we can't stop walking in and smiling even though we don't have to use it 🤣🤣. We are so thrilled with the work we've already told them that any other job that comes up is theirs hands down.

The best contractor experience I’ve ever had. From quoting to on-site work, communications were very smooth. Emails and texts were quickly exchanged. Bob was top notch and was extremely professional. The communication was great throughout and I appreciate him even turning down projects that be felt weren’t necessary. For example we thought our ceiling fan may have needed adjustment and he noted that it was fine. We also had considered doing some grading underneath our deck and Bob instead proposed a cost-free solution. I would definitely use Bob again!

Outstanding. I scheduled Bob for 8 hours after reading his positive reviews. I found his website to be transparent per scheduling and pricing. Before the project date, Bob was very accessible via email and texts regarding my project list. Bob and his helper did a great job fixing a leak under my toilet. It was made more difficult by an improper repair done by a previous owner. Nevertheless, Bob fixed it and got it done in the scheduled time and on budget. There has been no leaking since. Bob arrived on time and with everything he needed. He and his helper (his daughter) were very efficient and professional. They also did a good clean-up after the repair. I definitely recommend them. Bob's website shows his rates, so you can get an idea of the cost before you start.

I needed to have a sturdy hand rail constructed and installed at the top of the stairs. From the time I reached out to Bob, he was extremely responsive and professional and effectively communicated the schedule and cost of the job. I hired Bob to sand and repaint our Bilko (basement) Steel Entry Door. It was lightly rusted and needed a good coat of paint. It took him 3 hours and it looks like brand new now. There was no mess left. I will be using his services again.
