For more than 25 years, Sean Sullivan has been leading the Living Stone team, general management and clients through the design-and-build process. With a proven process and strategic partnerships with architects, designers and realtors, he and his team have delivered dream-worthy homes to families seeking a happier, healthier life in the North Carolina mountains.

For more than 25 years, Living Stone Design + Build has been exceeding expectations through the renovation and new construction process for clients all over the country relocating to Western North Carolina. During the great recession, Living Stone realized that in order to further increase value brought to the client, we were going to have to create a cost-competitive business model that extended beyond just the construction portion of the home.
Not all lots (or views) were created equal. If you want that perfect mountain build, then we need to design the ideal home to fit your lot. There are many factors to consider when designing a home in the mountains such as orientation, view, topography, function, and cost. We partner with top architects who will meet with us (in our office) to design the perfect home for you.

We haven't had them build our home yet, but meeting with them was excellent. We love the idea of full transparency (cost plus) so you don't have to worry about all jobs being subbed to the lowest bidder. Their full in house design and build program sounds fantastic, as well as their commitment to building a energy efficient and high air quality home.

The team at Living Stone Design + Build is simply great. They are a first rate builder. The team built a wonderful home for us in French Broad Crossing in Marshall, NC. I do work for hundred if not thousands of contractors and I can honestly say that Livingstone lives up to their reputation!! From the initial estimating process to the final punch list they are organized all the way thru. I am not a customer but a sub and they make sure to keep the schedule moving along so the subs can do their jobs effectively and efficiently. This makes the process for the homeowners a much smoother job and allows the subs to do their work easily. This is rare to find in a contractor and you should know you will be in good hands with these guys. Great group of people that build
