He gave us lots of great advice going forward with our fireplace/chimney renovation. He made the time to come out on a Sunday morning to pull our old liner out of the chimney so our gas insert could be installed in our fireplace on Tuesday.

Bill was great! I can't recommend him enough. We were able to get an appointment fast for an in-home consultation on our hundred-year-old chimney. I even had some more questions and he came back for a second visit to explain things to us in person at no extra charge. He was very knowledgeable and we are super happy with his service.

This guys contractor license is inactive. If he has recently done work for you, you can get a full refund.

Bill charged me $105 for an inspection that he never performed. He wanted $5,500 to rebuild my firebox that was behind a fire insert. After getting a second opinion I found that the box was in perfect condition.

He is a fraud and doesn't even have an active license.

I had Bill Green, Jr., to my home to do a chimney inspection and check a wood-burning fireplace insert. It had been about 10 years since it was used. Bill and his partner arrived on time and started his inspection. The original fireplace was a gas fireplace but I wanted the sounds of a crackling fire and the smell of a natural burn.

They checked the fireplace and insert then went up to inspect the chimney on the roof. He returned and told me that whoever did the work up there made it impossible for him to inspect the chimney and he would have to remove the blockage the previous guy did

Bill just cleaned our chimney yesterday. He was great every step of the way! It was so easy to contact him to schedule an appointment, he arrived on time, and was so personable. He did an excellent job and provided helpful information specific to our fireplace. I really don't know much about cleaning chimneys, but was really glad I called Bill to do the job- would definitely recommend.

I had a really strange experience with Bill Green this week. I just bought a home and wasn't sure what the status of our chimney was, and I asked Bill to come check it out for an inspection. He not once told me that I should do anything to prepare for this, and as we just purchased a home and it is under construction, there was some new furniture that was near the chimney that needed to be moved aside. When he arrived, he seemed from the start to be visibly irritated about that, and was very rough with his greeting. He was very unfriendly and just started inspecting our chimney without giving

Well, this is a first...Bill picked up the phone on the third ring and spent several minutes explaining that I didn't need to spend money replacing two dampers, as they aren't required by the City, and they are custom made, so pretty expensive.

With the recent rain we realized that our chimney was leaking/flooding and were alarmed. Bill had inspected our chimney in May but we were prioritizing what needed to be done since we are in a new home with a lot of work to be done.

Clearly we could no longer wait. We reached out to Bill and he fit us in quickly to prevent further damage. He never once said I told you so. When I look for someone to do work at my house, my number 1 consideration is the integrity of that person. Bill has that and more. He was on time and worked hard to correct a problem with the damper on my chimney. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and cared that the job was done right. A true pro who cares about the people he works for.
