Services
The Design Build process began on March of 2007, for the first of 3 phases. Our major challenges were keeping the school, daycare and after school programs operational during construction, and bringing a design element to tie the two different existing structures together to make them appear as one.
Phase I - Fellowship hall, Education Building, Stair Tower, Elevator, Well and Septic Improvements, new playground area, commercial kitchen, extensive site work, storm water system, 85+ space parking lot. Construction is ongoing. Phase II - Our master plan for Mill Creek includes the relocation and realignment of Blue Ridge Turnpike and Route 11 in the year 2014.
We constructed a 20,000 square foot office and warehouse facility to serve as the Roanoke area Trane headquarters. This project was a new construction project that included all site work, storm water system, bio ponds, parking and off-site drainage improvements. This multi-million dollar facility houses Trane's new state-of-the art HVAC Air Handler and Chiller.
Blake Construction is a Class A building contractor, tackling any commercial project that can be imagined, from cutting an opening and install a door to building from the ground up. We have experience in all types of construction, including pre-engineered metal buildings, steel studs, wood frame and traditional structural steel.
Equipment and training from the world leader in subsurface imaging GSSI (Geophysical Survey Systems, Inc.) Our technicians can quickly scan concrete structures to help indentify embedded objects, and lessen the chance of cutting through them during demolition or renovation. I hired them to create a handicap ramp for my parents house. They finished in a day and quality was amazing. They finished up everything for me and cleaned up when they were done. Matt personally inspected the ramp with my parents and I to make sure that we were happy. I would hire them again in a heart beat.
