Turner Long Construction was founded in 1939 by J.M. Turner Sr. as a small residential contractor. Conditions changed after World War II, and the company shifted its concentration to commercial and industrial construction. In the 1960's, the company diversified into highway and bridge construction as well as the construction of water and sewage treatment facilities.

Turner Long Construction is an experienced Design/Build general contractor. Many clients have asked us to help them conduct a thorough needs analysis and develop a facility to fit their requirements. Turner Long Construction is perhaps best known for our pre-construction services. We led the charge in the early 1980s, perfecting the pre-construction activities that are integral to the team-build approach.
