The original Puffin Oriental Rugs, Ltd. was started in 1976 by Zubair & Lynn Khan and was located in downtown Media, PA.

Our full submersion hand-wash process is specifically designed to clean hand-knotted rugs, but also works beautifully on machine-made rugs. The entire cleaning & drying process takes 7-10 days. We provide stain treatments free of charge, however, we cannot guarantee the stains will come out.

An Oriental rug is a purchase for a lifetime and when properly maintained, for generations. This care guide provides you with helpful tips however, not all situations or rugs react the same way. You should vacuum your rug often--both front and back sides (be sure not to vacuum the fringe), and rotate it once in a while.

They rescued a rug that was abused by 2 dogs and a small child for a few years. After professional steam cleaning and a ton of store bought remidies could not eliminate the smell or the color...they brought it back to life to look and smell brand new....and they did it with free pickup and drop off. The rug pad they suggested & sold with the cleaning service feels amazing.

Great personal staff and one on one attention to our needs. We love how kind the Khans are and how competitive the prices are. They even shipped rugs to us out of state.
