Recently engaged Artisan Awning for a long needed project of window screens. We wanted sun protection but maintenance of our lovely view. They did a site visit and gave us both ideas for improving the heat reduction as well as German-engineered mechanism. The installation team was efficient and the end result has changed the year round functionality of southern facing windows. We are thrilled. We would highly recommend them and are going to install another awning in the Spring.

I am so happy with the awning that was created by Artisan Awning. Amy was extremely easy to work with and I am confused as to why there are negative reviews regarding her lack of communication. I sent her photos of what we needed done and she came out the following week to measure and discuss options. The pricing was very fair and lower than competitors in Marin. By the time I sent the deposit, we had our awning installed in 3 weeks. I love how it looks at our house. The installation was very easy and took 45 minutes. Thank you Amy!

I called Amy at Artisan. After wasting all my time taking my information she refused to give come out to give me an estimate unless I sent her a picture of the window in question. Sending her a picture made no sense to me as I had completely described the window size, type of window, and accessibility. Also, her company location is only a 10-15 ride to my location. So, as far as I could see, she was just trying to avoid coming to my house because there was only one window in question. This was her way of saying the job is too small for us.

I have now had my second purchase from Artisan Awnings. They are both smaller awning projects. Both experiences have been fantastic. The items were made exactly to the specs that we agreed on and the work was excellent, the cost was reasonable and both projects were completed within 2 weeks of the orders being placed. I am very happy with this company.

Over 125 years of craftsmanship combined with the staff here at Artisan awing company, and they are small company that gets the big jobs done. They are a true symbol of a mom and pop store trying to make it here in America. As I got to know the individuals, they take get pride in there work. The pictures on their website says it all. Very reasonable prices, as Amy can come up with a quote that would work very well with your budget. Support your local business, as it helps the community is so many different ways.

I had Artisan Awning put in 10 awnings in the property I manage. They look awesome. Better than I could have possibly imagined.
Artisan Awnings was less expensive than their competitors for the same product (by a significant margin). We really could not be happier. They look great and really enhance the property.

I just had Atrisan Awning replace awnings in my backyard and next door. Amy, who I primarily dealt with was on time every time we met and her communications skills were spot on. When she arrived (as I said ON TIME), she gave me the options of replacing the awnings, helped me pick a color I liked. When she notified me the awning was ready her work man came on time and delivered exactly at the time she informed me they would arrive. The awnings look great and would recommend Atrisan Awning to anyone looking for a new awning or fabric replacement.

I have been using Artisan Awning for six years now on many projects. I see multiple failures on other companies awnings, cheap frames, knock-off fabrics, etc. Artisan always delivers a great product, and on time. They just finished a larger commercial job for me in San Rafael, and despite multiple change orders, changed timing, they always stepped up to the plate. You simply won't go wrong or regret going with this company. Amy and Walter really nice to work with as well.

I had Sullivan & Brampton install my awnings when I remodeled my building in 1981. Those awnings lasted until 2001 when I had them replaced by S&B also. Since Sullivan & Brampton is now Artisan Awnings they have the same people, same customer courtesy, same experienced workmanship as they always have. My awnings have well outlasted what I was told the life expectancy was. When I do get them replaced next time it will definitely be done by Artisan.
