Wen Han Awning

High-quality work, extremely responsive service. Wen and his team are clearly very experienced, take pride in their work, and do it to a high quality. The kind of tradespeople I like to work with. As some others have remarked, Wen can be quite a character, a bit salty at times, and in his rush he can come across as impatient and pushy. Nevertheless, he's a good guy, trustworthy, and I'll always prefer contractors like him to smooth-talkers who are unreliable and do subpar work. Would gladly hire again. Our new awnings looks great.

Wow... I had the same response as Philip E. Called for a quote and got accused I work for yelp and was asked to swear I am real customer (!!!!). After the 4th time I assured them I am a real customer I hung up...
What a character!

Emailed to get a quote and received a message asking to give them a call.. I called and introduced myself and was immediately accused of working for Yelp. I tried to explain that I was really looking to get an awning replaced and was verbally assaulted and called a liar.. Seems like a stand up company...

Wen, sent a text asking if he could come over that same day. I said I wasn't available and needed a day's notice. No response. A texted a fww days later about a re-schedule and he sent a quote of $6500, and never even came by to give a quote.

Working with them has been a pleasure. They are prompt with their replies and estimates and give amazing service. Our awnings are professional and great quality. We even asked him about how to make a small covering to protect a stray cat that stays in our backyard and they helped us additionally for free! They care about their customers. Will use them again in the future!

We needed to protect some equipment on the side of our house. Wen Han came out promptly after I called, designed and set the size for an awning that would meet our needs, and prepared a proposal, which I accepted. He estimated that the awning would be ready in 2-3 weeks.

A few days later, he called to report that the fabric that I had selected would take several weeks to arrive. He recommended, instead, a fabric with a slightly different color (he sent a photo comparing the two), which would have the benefit (at no additional charge) of being fireproof. I accepted that recommendation.

Amazingly

I called Mr. Han for replacing an awning post on a mobilehome carport. My park management is very strict and said I had to paint and reattach the gutter downspout. In looking at it I realized there was a small dent in the post, which they also are very strict about replacing damaged posts, so I thought I will just get it all done together. Mr. Han had me send a picture and recommended that, rather than replacing the post that I try having someone just hammer out the small dent because replacement would be very expensive and he didn't feel it needed to be replaced. I am writing this review

My awning is doing great. It has held up flawlessly for the past 2 years without fading. The owner is efficient and provides quality service and product. Everything is custom made .

Wowsa! Everything impressed me about this company. I have been using awnings in a commercial setting for many years and am glad I chose Wen Han Awning. Estimator shows up as scheduled, gives me a fair price and then prioritizes my project ahead of a bigger company and the awning is being put in place before the heavy rains ahead of expectations. After many experiences with different awning companies I can see quality and design features such as wrapping extra fabric around the frame poles to keep the awning from beating itself up when the rain and wind attack it. Beyond my expectations placed an order estimated date would be in 5 days which is super fast for type of work needed to be done . Every other places told me 2 weeks and more. Also I paid half of price what others were gonna charge me . 3 days After placing an order I get a phone call that your awning is ready!!! Wow I could not believe how fast these guys were plus I got excellent quality fabric. Thank you very much!

Wen Han is a very reliable and careful craftsman. He helped us solve a couple of problems and his product was quite superior. We highly recommend him
