I got scammed out of 244.36 by Eric in 2019. Yes like everyone else he diagnosis the problem and says its an easy fix. I should have known it would not be as simple when he failed to get back in contact with me the first time I called to check on the arrival of the parts for my oven. When he finally came back he couldn't do the work on his own and said he would be back with assistance. 2 years later never heard from him again. At the time I just gave up because I didnt want to have to pay the remaining half for his shoddy service. Now attempting to have someone I trust to fix my oven and guess

Eric helped me to fix my dryer heating problem,he said control board is bad, then give me a link to order the parts, then come back to help me to installed it. but my dashboard is blank after he installed the new control board. wrong parts? he promise to contact company to solve this issue, but till now 3 weeks already no respond ,now matter i called him and text message,he did not respond to me.i really get tired for that. i spent $430 total parts and labor, i should buy new one. irresponsible!!!!!!!!!!

I reached out to GE to have my café range repaired I was told that it would be at least two weeks before somebody could come out. That’s when I decided to call All-Star. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me they could come out the next day. They were friendly, honest, on time, and got the job done. I’m so grateful and I will definitely use them again should the need arise.

The repairman Eric was prompt and apparently very knowledgeable about my refrigerator. He diagnosed my problem and explained it to me in layman's terms. His explanation of the repair process was reasonable and satisfying. He gave me different options as far as price and time frame. The best thing is He worked hard to get the repair done even quicker than expected. This was my first time using this company but it won't be my last. They also have a cool slogan...."Making appliances great again!"

Eric was amazing!! I called on a Thursday and he was at my house the next morning. I do A LOT of laundry and I didn't want to wait until the next week. He was so accommodating and professional. If you have any issues with your major appliances, All-Star Appliance Repair is the business to call! I would give more than five stars if I could. My story is the same as everyone else's. I don't even need to detail it. I got duped by using him years ago because I got a satisfactory resolve. So I called recently when my Samsung monster fridge decided to have random issues.
He comes he diagnoses , has me order parts, takes money and then makes every excuse for missing appointments .wastes time by multiple visits where nothing happens. We ended up never fixing the problems and missing work and $$$.

We found Eric and Allstar from another app, where his reviews are great. I can't speak to the experiences others have below, but with us he was timely, professional, thorough, and saved us some money when he could easily made more money by encouraging us to repair our dying fridge rather than replace.

This guy is truly a psycho. We have the same story as others, but in his excuse making via text Eric went so far as to try to tell us he'd been depressed and he was starting meds... To try to gain our sympathy for his scammy behavior, all the while doing this to hundreds of other people. Straight up thief.

I called for service on a Samsung refrigerator where the freezer was icing up in a rental property. They quickly went out, told me I needed a part and within a few days said the repair was complete. I paid $306 for the repair. They said they left the breaker off because the ice was still defrosting. When I went back I flipped the breaker on. I checked a few days later and the freezer had the same issue that it did before.

Second time I have used All-Star. The first time was a few years ago, when he replaced a sub-board in my oven control panel. Fast and professional over 2 visits to get the problem resolved.
Today, the belt in the dryer at my rental property broke. Called All-Star and Eric replied in 10 minutes by text and was on-site and had the problem resolved in under 4 hours from the time I emailed him. Would recommend again!

Eric came quickly the first time I called. He charged me $200+ to replace my ice maker and it didn't work. After about 8 calls, 30 text messages, and 5 no-shows I give up. I'm so sad I didn't read more reviews before trying -- I have no idea how they have 4.1 on google. Avoid AllStar at all costs. Also, I really should have read reviews instead of trusting google's average. Very poor experience. The technician missed the 3-hour appointment window, making me miss a full day of work. When he finally did arrive, I was told that my dryer wasn't heating because the exhaust must be clogged. He didn't actually verify this himself, telling me that he couldn't do so because he wasn't "HVAC certified". He insisted this could be the only problem, and that he sees it all the time. After he left, I took the exhaust tube apart myself and found it wasn't clogged at all. Removing the modest amount of lint did nothing to fix the problem.
