A 1982 graduate of the University of Michigan, with master's degrees in both architecture and urban planning, Sharon has 30 years of design and architecture experience. With her Manhattan-based firm, Sharon Kovalsky Associates, she has worked on a wide variety of residential and commercial projects, from apartment renovations to restaurant and office design.

At AplosGroup, we put the client at the center of all our work. We ask our clients for feedback after completing a project to find out what worked well and what could have gone better, to help us constantly improve our process. The architectural design process can seem bewildering - there are so many decisions to be made, so many tasks to complete, so many people involved. Every architect has her own way of working, and each client and project has unique needs that may call for variations in the architectural design process, but the basic steps remain the same.
