Starts out with Lucy she is so friendly and nice. Janie is great very friendly and very helpful. The young man that came out not just once but twice was Ethan. Very nice and helpful. I will definitely be using this company again for any of my heating and air conditioning needs. Ethan got my furnace working in no time and stayed till it cycled through to make sure it would start up again. Very impressed with this company.

Fantastic experience, starting with "speaking" with an online rep via chat before being called back by a very friendly and helpful employee in a timely manner to arrange service. Relatively new furnace suddenly wouldn't stay on. Would shut off and would not restart, or if it did, only briefly; not until house reached the desired temperature.

Ethan came out and took a look at my furnace after Mike Williams came out and compared there quotes, as I have had work done by both companies they both come and check on my furnace in the fall. Ethan explained what was wrong and basically told Mike Williams exaggerated the extent of dust build up on my furnace and that their quote to clean it was excessive and MB would clean it for much less, $315 while Mike Williams quoted $749, but that in his opinion it was normal accumulation and did not yet warrant needing to be cleaned. At my regular furnace maintenance call, found the furnace is starting to leak carbon monoxide. Not enough to set off alarms yet but every time the furnace ran levels were going up. Fast forward to replacing the furnace and a.c. this week. It was an all day job but all workers were excellent, Josh who came and measured and explained options to the office who helped schedule and the 3 person installation crew. He was very thorough in explaining the system to us and explaining what the company policies were and how the company wants every customer to be happy. Allan delivered everything he said. Just hired this company to install a new System. As soon as I signed the contract, Benny was over here with electric heaters to get me by until the install. It was getting very cold at the time . Benny didn’t waste anytime to make sure I had heat, he knew I was suffering , and he was here in no time with heaters. The crew were just as awesome ! Mike and Nicole are amazing professionals. My furnace went out on a Saturday morning. It's been unseasonably cold and I am selling the home soon, so I wanted this fixed sooner rather than later. After troubleshooting for 2 hours, I gave up and called.
Tommy G was professional and well-versed. He fixed the problem essentially with the diagnostic service, $120 for a weekend service. He appropriately offered long term solutions and maintenance plans, but given my situation, I declined. If I was staying local, I would have considered it based on his information and recommendations.

We used Sweeney in Rochester for years, but they had been sold to MB Heating & Cooling.
A/C capacitor went out and Curtis came to fix it. I understand the after hours fee, but the part was over $300.00. Since he replaced it before telling us the part was $280.00 mark up, we had to pay.
Will never use this company again and reporting them to BBB for bad practices.

Great service and response time. I received a live person when I called. A time was scheduled and the technician showed up when they said they would. He called 20 minutes before to let me know he was on the way.
After doing some diagnostics, Jim gave me three options for a solution. I asked his recommendation based on what he saw. He was honest and explained why. We went with his recommendation and he fixed it right there. Very professional service from beginning to end.

First, I am puzzled as to why none of the 27 other reviews, most of which were positive, were not shown here. This is the first time for using this company. The furnace at my rental quit on a Sunday night when it was 30 degrees. Tommy came out and gave me the info on what needed to be done. It needed a new motor, which was what we figured, and the wheel needed cleaning. They carry universal motors so no one ever has to go a night with no heat - a big plus in my book. He advised me up front that doing the same repair the next day would save me almost $500. When he did the repair, he took pictures

Tech came out on a Saturday night to figure out why my furnace wasn't working. Curtis figured out was was wrong in 10 min. He had the part on hand and had me up and going 45 minutes later. Could not recommend more. Have had many horrible experiences with other companies in the past, nice to have a good one. Will be calling them next time there is a problem. Thanks!

My air conditioner quit cooling during the recent hot spell. I didn't know who to call, so I called the company I have done business with out of Rochester. However, I found out they sold their company to MB Heating & Cooling in Springfield IL, so I ended up calling them to diagnose my problem. Part of the problem was due to low refrigerant. They also informed me that I probably should replace the capacitor. Upon receiving the bill for replacement of the capacitor, I was shocked! They charged me $232 to replace a part that costs less than $40 and can be installed in less than 15 minutes

I had a great experience with MB Heating and Cooling. Matt did a thorough job of analyzing our situation and gave us just what we needed and in the price point we were looking for. Highly recommend them! The guys who put the furnace and air conditioner in were super professional and did a fantastic job. Thanks to all of them - Tommy Gleason, Devyn Emmons and Matt Kime. They braved a very bitter cold day to install the units for us and cleaned up afterwards, which was awesome! Couldn't be a nicer group of guys!

Although the company did do a good job at replacing the part, I have a huge issue with the billing. After paying a $75 dollar diagnostic fee, I was told I had a bad capacitor and that it would be $185.31 to replace it, bringing my bill to a total of $260.31. The actual cost of the part is less than $15 and many YouTube videos show that it takes about 10 min or less to replace and this is with the person explaining what they are doing. I get the companies hourly rate is what it is and I don't have a problem with that. But if the company is sending me a level whatever they explained tech to

Needed A/C service at my parents house in Springfield the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. Darren Patrick was courteous and very competent, and after less than 10 minutes he discovered that a wire had been disconnected from the thermostat to the system. He connected the wire and the system was functioning once again. I understand paying the premium "Diagnostic Fee" of $115 for a Sunday of a Holiday weekend. I had a great experience with MB Heating and Cooling! I had gotten home Sunday night and it was 51 degrees in my house! The next morning at 730 I called and was told they would be there around lunch time. I was called around 830 and told they'd be there around 10!! I was sooo happy they could come sooner because by then it was 47 degrees in my house!! Cale got there and determined the problem and fixed it. He was great! He figured out the problem right away and was able to fix it all before 1130 that morning!! I would highly recommend MB Heating and Cooling and Cale!!! My house is now toasty
