Asphalt, or bitumen, is a sticky, black and highly viscous liquid or semi-solid form of petroleum. Asphalt is used in the majority of pavement projects because of its rugged durability and economy, but in some cases our customers prefer a natural paving alternative. We provide alternative, petroleum-free paving methods that are environmentally-friendly and that blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
Not every pavement setting calls for asphalt. Chip seal is a high-quality alternative to asphalt that offers an exceptional surface with a natural, earthy appeal. Chip Seal is a pavement surface treatment that combines one or more layers of asphalt with one or more layers of fine aggregate. This kind of surface is known by a variety of other names that are used in different parts of the country.

We have had a lot of different contractors working on our home over the last several years and Pimentel was one of the few that far exceeded our expectations. We have a long and steep driveway that had not been paved for 20+ years. Joe bid the job quickly and walked through the details and followed up with a detailed quote. We did get other bids but there was never a question that we would pick Pimentel if the price was competitive.

I hired Pimental for a second job (chip seal done in a stunning sonoma gold color rock) a few months after their first project for me (driveway paving and pickleball court install). I trusted him to do the new job based on his earlier great work. They didn't disappoint. Rock solid. I wish I had more contractors like them.

It doesn't get any better than working with the Pimentels!! Customer service and quality of work is superior.
Ours was a difficult job, a private street with 25 homeowners. After getting bids from several contractors, the Pimentel bid stood out as the best bang for the buck. We also liked the fact that it is a family owned business with great reviews. It took 2 years to get all homeowners on board and Carolyn held our hand the entire time. Pimental did an excellent job paving my very steep driveway. I originally chose Pimental because of their excellent reputation and very reasonable pricing. (with estimates ranging from $9,800 - $33,000) Given the quality of their work and the pleasure they were to work with, I wouldn't consider using anybody else if I ever needed another driveway repaved. Thank you Pimentel Paving, Inc for an excellent job completed on our private road. We share our road with 3 other neighbors and Pimentel Paving came out and gave us an estimate for the complete job and was able to invoice each home individual which was a great help. The job was completed as promised and all of us were extremely happy with the job, but Mr. Pimentel did not leave until the job was done perfect ! Was not impressed with Pimentel Paving's customer service. I looked online to see which paving companies are "Diamond Certified" and noticed that Pimentel was. Therefore I decided to call them to start the process of having our private street checked and sealed. We are a small complex in Windsor with 12 homes.
I left a message on Friday (January 24th). I left my name, purpose of my call and my cell number, with a request for a call back to setup an appointment. I never received so much as a call or voice mail.

Pimentel Paving repaved my driveway and installed compacted rock on the shoulder of the road in front of my house last week. I can not recommend this company highly enough! There are some very good reasons why they are Diamond Certified. From the start the owners went above and beyond in customer service. They were extremely professional, competent and helpful.
