I've hired MGL for two projects now and highly recommend Martin and his team. Two years ago (April 2019) he replaced the broken "poured in place" concrete coping around my pool that had failed, cracked and fallen off into my pool. This was due to shoddy workmanship by the original contractor who did the landscape decking around the pool (was not the pool contractor). Martin replaced the broken coping with 2" thick Scabos travertine bullnose, and also replaced all the waterline tile (and correctly used 2 part epoxy grout designed for wet service, to seal the water out). We hired Martin and his team recently to build a retaining wall and paver patio in our backyard. The area for this project is on a hill, it had a tree and gazebo before, which were recently removed. But the tree service we hired didn't do a good job removing the roots. It was a lot prep work to clean up the roots, remove the dirt and get ground leveled. Martin's team worked very hard to get this done, which wasn't an easy job without a machine to help digging ( the pathway is narrow, can't get any machine in). So that's an A+ effort to start with.

Martin responded quickly to my request for an estimate. I was installing a new intercom that was very different to the original and required brick work.
Martin was able to stop by and gave me a reasonable estimate. I gave him the new intercom housing and he was able to cut out the old intercom, get matching bricks and install the intercom housing (keeping the wires intact and I. The correct place.
