Acme Pool Construction, Inc was established in 1993 as a family owned business by Peter Folkringa, Jr. and his wife Kim. Peter started in the pool industry as a teenager, originally working with his dad, who started Acme Pool Company in 1963. Acme Pool Construction has been creating new pools and recreating existing pools for many decades.

We offer pools of all shapes and sizes, concrete and vinyl liners, however, at Acme Pool Construction, we are well known for our in-ground custom designed pools and spas! We specialize in building free-form custom designed pools and spas uniquely designed just for you! We build them to any size and any shape you choose, to fit in your landscape.
Acme Pool Construction is well known for renovating and modernizing pools in all of west Michigan! Many other pool companies refer to us for pool remodeling, since for many decades, it has become our specialty! We can re-create your existing pool into something new and beautiful. We can update your interior with new tile or a new interior finish and we can update the exterior.

We needed some repairs to our vintage pool and Acme did a great job. They were familiar with the unique qualities of Garter pools and were able to fix the problem. Everyone else had turned the job down but Acme came through for us so we are ready for a new pool season. They did the work in a timely manner and were encouraging to us where others had nothing to do with our situation. Thanks Acme! Your magnet will stay on our fridge for the foreseeable future!

We started planning for the renovation of our 30 year old in-ground pool three years ago. Reached out to Acme on the recommendation of a friend. Their people worked with us to determine what was needed, how much it would cost and how long it would take. Events transpired that forced us to postpone for one year and then another. The Acme people were very flexible and patient. Then the pandemic hit and our scheduled repairs were postponed yet again. When they were allowed to go back to work our schedules conflicted and, once again, they were flexible. Once the repairs commenced I was impressed with
