The two biggest challenges when refinishing Southern California Hardwood Flooring are where do you put the furniture and choosing a color. I'm no help at choosing the color. I've been refinishing Hardwood Flooring in Southern California since 1984 and I've done every color you can think of and at the end of the day, I like them all.
You can look at pictures online and you can see stain samples at Home Depot but when refinishing your hardwood floors, you need to have the sample colors applied on your floor and with at least one coat of clear finish. Once the hardwood floor is clean and clear, no furniture and all the carpet, pad, tack-strip, staples, and nails have been removed we can get started.
We still hang plastic. Our machines all have vacuums and other companies will tell you its "dust-free" but that's not true. To us old guys it seems like its dust-free because before the vacuum systems the house would be covered in dust. Now we are able to collect about 80% - 90% of the dust. But when you are refinishing Hardwood Flooring in Southern California you will have dust.

I can't say enough how much I valued their work. The price was right, the work was great, on time arrival, my floor was only 6 years old but white washed faded and never right. If I knew it was going to look so great when it was complete I would have done it a lot sooner. So worth it! I have a couple homes so I hire many workers and this group is top notch! I am so pleased with how my floors turned out. This a AAA+ company. My original white oak floors were a mess from the previous owners remodel, that left drywall mud and crust which they covered with carpet. So it was never refinished before.
The finished product is amazing. I definitely would use again and refer this company.

I would give this company 10stars if I could. Brian really knows what he is doing and his Brother Jose has an incredibly caring and patient personalty that I really appreciated. They did an unbelievable job restoring my original 1950's oak floors, which were yellow and severely scratched up! They were extremely accommodating around my full home remodel, finishing around the work being done. They worked with me on scheduling to accommodate my needs. The price was more than fair for the expertise and care they provide. I would recommend not passing up this quality of work just to save a few

After getting multiple estimates for the replacement of our wood floors, I came across the only wood floors website. Quick, responsive and efficient, my wood floors were refinished(and parts replaced) at a reasonable price! The work is top notch, my floors look fantastic and I would not hesitate to hire them again. Brian arrived at the location in less than 12 hours. He sent pictures as the work progressed all the way through the finished product. The old wood floors in the house which is 100 year old were matched in depth and stain. The price was superb as well as the service and work. Definitely give Brian a call he is worth it.

I was in a jam and Brian came to my rescue. I hired a handyman to repair a scrape on some wood floors. It occurred to me that the repair would not match and that the handyman didn't have a clue as to how to fix it. Time was running out since the handyman was coming to finish the job. We had a slab leak in our home. Our hardwood floor got extremely damaged. I interviewed several hardwood floor companies for repairing the damage. Ultimately, I chose Brian, Only Wood Floors. I can't believe that this will be the first Yelp Review about this business, because they are Amazing! I called at least 15 places asking to refinish my bamboo floors in the Townhome I bought. 80% of the places said "we don't refinish Bamboo" without even looking at the floor. The owner at Only Wood Floors, Brian Adams was one of 4 companies that said they could do it but would have to take a look first. There are apparently, many types of bamboo and some can't be refinished. I get that, but all the companies that said they simply didn't do it OR it couldn't be
