Basement finishes are my favorite type of home improvement project. Homeowners just get so much more "bang for their buck" or ROI for the math nerds out there. Nothing makes me feel better than when I receive a final payment for a project that's enclosed in a "thank you" card. We keep things pretty simple around here and this pretty much tells me I'm running the company EXACTLY how I had set out.
We recently wrapped up a residential addition that was a great little project. When we were originally contacted by the homeowner they were entertaining the idea of a "tiny house" for the mom to live with them. I'm so glad they decided to build something permanent, I think their return on investment will be much better with the home addition.
This is the perfect space for someone who doesn't need tons of storage and as we were working on the project everyone who walked thru mentioned "boy I could live here." It really is the perfect apartment for those without tons of "stuff." This was a fun and interesting little project.

The renovations that Matt and crew did on my house were extensive. I live in an old house in Old Town and the changes began because I needed to be able to get into the partial basement with reduced danger. Absolutely nothing about the house was regular or predictable, and being an old house, nothing was much was square or level.

We have a 120 year old home near Old Town and needed to add a ground floor bedroom and bath so we could age in place. Matt completed a full basement renovation for us, and we could not be happier! We hired Matt as our General Contractor for our recently completed 500 square foot "tiny home" addition on our house, which is featured on his website. A wonderful remodeling experience! Matt with DBS completely remodeled 3 bathrooms for us. He is educated, professional, and nice to have around. He communicates well and is reliable. Matt recently completed a complete kitchen remodel in our Fort Collins home. His work is impeccable down to the last detail. We loved working with Matt! He did tilling, counters, beautiful custom shelving and cabinet installation for our laundry room. He was detailed and patient with our design plans and we can't wait to work with him again in the future! Matt did a total remodel on our master bathroom which is open to our bedroom. He did an amazing job at minimizing dust and cleaning up every single day. We had Matt help us with a bathroom remodel where he installed new backer board and tiling, as well as did electrical and plumbing that was needed.
