I had them repair my dryer. Nick was awesome and he took his time explaining why my dryer stopped working and how to better maintain my dryer after it was repaired. Nick also took the time to explain how to efficiently use my washer machine and he answered my questions about vent cleaning.- even though he was only there to fix my dryer. The repair price was reasonable and Nick was on time. I highly recommend Around the House Appliance Repair.

Called Nick this morning because it appeared our side-by-side had died overnight. Nick calmly talked to me over the phone, and we concluded that someone in our home had simply left the freezer door ajar overnight. Panic averted! He also gave me a useful tip to ensure the unit was still properly freezing.

Dryer had no heat on Sunday, laundry day. Emailed Nick via the website. A quick text exchange Monday at 8am lead to Jim knocking on the door at 11:30am. He pulled it apart, walked me through what needed to be fixed and gave me a full price right there. He had the parts on hand and was done an hour later. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable people. I would highly recommend Nick & Jim for your appliance repair needs.

Service was friendly, quick, and accurate. From what I googled online the price was fair too. I spoke to Nick over the phone and since Christmas Eve is tomorrow I was anxious to have my oven fixed. Another technician, Jim, came out within the hour. He fixed it within 1 hour and now I am back in business. I'd recommend this company - it was a very smooth experience.

Service call for a Scotsman I've maker, I paid a large deposit for parts that had to be ordered. I had to follow up with them several times eventually figuring out the call was done by a subcontractor they couldn't answer for. After a month, no parts, no repair, no explanation. They agreed to refund, but after a week of waiting still no refund to my card and now they tell me to take it up with the credit card company. What a major hassle!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Nick and Around the House. Before I even scheduled an appointment, he spent quite a bit of time running me through some easy things to check. Unfortunately, my dishwasher needed a more complicated repair. He spent a ton of time on the it and made sure everything was working perfectly. It was a good thing, because we had an obstruction in two different places. His charge was more than reasonable.

We used the self clean option on our oven and the door wouldn't unlock, even hours after it had finished and was thoroughly cooled. I requested service on the Around The House site, received a text confirming my appt and received a call during my appt window from the tech (James) that he was running late. Once James arrived, he was thorough in his assessment of the problem, explained what more than likely happened, ordered the replacement part and returned the following week to install. My dryer went out. 2 year old Samsung. Nick was awesome at explaining costs and potential issues. He actually had to make a return trip because what he thought was wrong wasn't. This is where other companies typically go wrong, but not this time. He came back, did not charge for labor. Replaced 2 additional parts within 1 hour and warrantied his work. I have had no additional problems and would absolutely use this company again. Customer service was top notch amd pricing was fair.

I would like thank the Appliance Gods for sending Nick my way. I called Nick in a panic when my Bosch Front Load Washer wouldn't lock and start. From the first call, Nick was professional, courteous and honest about what the issue could be. He ordered the part he thought I would need based upon my description of the issue. To start my dryer had a burning smell which then I took apart to see the panel being burned out which I then decided with Around the House on Sunday. I went on their website and set an appt for Monday. Nick followed up with me on Monday morning came out fixed it in under an hour. Now for service Nick- was super friendly and nice guy. Just had Nick come out to look at our 12 year old Kenmore refrigerator which recently started defrosting and leaking within. I contacted him because of previous Yelp reviews and my dissatisfaction with Sears Home Repair on both my Kenmore Washer/Dryer and Kenmore dishwasher (both cost me around $100 for service calls only to tell me I needed new units).
