After giving an initial estimate for the cost for tree removal and trimming that was agreed upon, on the day of the actual trimming, my parents were told it would be another $2000. This was only brought up after already cutting down a large section of the tree, which put them in the position where they were stuck paying the cost or having to deal with the mess themselves. Even after this, the company was supposed to finish grinding the stump and leveling the mulch, which only partially took place after multiple calls. This is a shady business where people are lured in with promises of lower costs

Wow ! Great job guys ! Not only did I get a great price but the work was also great. Several big oak trees trimmed cleaned up all the way when they said they were going to do it how they said they were going to do it and the amount of work they said they were going to do. Got a quote of $900 to cut down some tree branches hanging over our home and remove all debris. I was promised debris would be removed the next day. It's been over a week they are giving me same response that today is the day they are coming to get it removed. But as of now it's still sitting here. Code enforcement came and now I am filing claim in small claims court for breach of contract plus time I need to take off work to get this removed my self. Apex Arbor Care. Do NOT use this company. You will be sorry. I hired them to trim 2 big trees. They worked for about 15 minutes when one of them cut a branch which hit my truck under the carport and left a dent in the tailgate. I told the worker he needed to be more careful because carelessness can lead to accidents. He got upset at my use of the word "careless" and proceeded to cuss me out. I called the company and told the crew that they were finished and could leave. The foreman fired the worker on the spot and assured me that the owner would be here in a few minutes to deal with the

I am not a customer, but was looking around for tree companies. The photos of the over-trimmed palms do not show proper tree management. I have to disagree with the one star reviews on this site (see last paragraph below). I found Apex Arbor Care did an outstanding job from quote to completion. I met with the owner, Don Mead, and we discussed what I wanted and he prepared an invoice that was to my exact specifications. His crew came out the next day exactly at 8:30 as planned and finished the job within 3 hours. Tom and his team did an outstanding job explaining what was being cut and why, meeting my specifications perfectly. Real nice people. Have no problem taking your money without finishing the job you paid for. My mother recently paid for some trees to be removed. Everything started off fine; all the trees requested were taken down and placed at the curb for pick up. Then came the fun. The debris has been sitting at said curb for over a week now and no one has come to pick it up. Multiple calls to the company were met with promises that it would be taken care of that day, but this has not been the case. A real class act to take advantage of a 70 year old woman. Can't imagine what they've done to others

After very first encounter with this crew/company, had thought I would be writing to leave an amazing review. They were already doing work at a neighbors and had them give me an estimate to do some work at my property. I felt the estimate from Frazier was fair and told them to move forward. They had a lot of work in the area and knew they had a lot to get done. Half way through the day, Frazier asked for full payment for the agreed upon work. I was not comfortable providing payment for work that had not been even started, much less finished... and knew it would be near impossible to get done what

Doing business with Apex Arbor care was a very frustrating and unpleasant experience. Apex did not cut all the dead limbs they agreed to cut and they left debris and logs scattered across my lawn as well as a large pile of limbs in front of my garage which they never picked up (although the owner committed to come back to remove the debris). They never responded to a single phone message, text message or email. Finally, they caused substantial damage to my roof as well as knocking out my neighbors AC. They did not charge for the final portion of the job but this did not cover the costs of repairs

DO NOT HIRE!!!! They were hired to cut down 3 trees and trim and clean up 5 more. They only completed half the job, left debris for us to dispose of, damaged our fence, drive gates and yard. When they came out on the 1st day and only got 1/2 the job done, they wanted to get paid. We finally agreed to pay part of the bill and they left their equipment until they returned. When they returned to finish, they moved the equipment to get started, but instead they loaded everything up and left. We were then told they were not going to finish and for us to call someone else. Mike was the first representative we met - was refreshing to have a company from my hometown in Louisiana helping with storm cleanup. Jason came by and gave us a quote. I would encourage consumers to be sure everything you want done is documented on that piece of paper. Derek is the tree climber/cutter and does a great job - John was with him cleaning up and assisting him. They started on Sunday evening and got a head start on the job. Monday morning, a crew of 6-7 arrived with a bobcat to get the rest of the tree and debris out. They did that and we are GRATEFUL to have the 60 foot tree removed

DO NOT HIRE - We hired Apex to take down a tree and remove the debris. We paid $2500 only to have them drop the debris over the wall of our backyard for the City of Orlando to pick up. I didn't pay the City; I paid Apex to remove the debris. It has been two weeks, and the debris is still there. We have made several calls to Apex, and I even met Don while he was on another job nearby. Everyone promises to have it cleared away, but it doesn't happen.

Terrible employees that are rude and have zero respect for others property. They tore up all of my plants and left a mess. The "supervisor" doesn't care what his employees do to others. Also, they have an employee walking around with a cane to sell services but then miraculously doesn't need the cane to help cut trees and use the blower. After being asked not to use our property to park their cars, they got mad and vandalized my property. They told my kids they couldn't play outside until they were finished with the job. Terrible company terrible owners.
