Cody Weight, President of Solitude Homes and family man of four, grew up on a construction site in Utah. At a young age, he was introduced to building plans which became the stepping stone in developing him into a true idaho custom home builder. Working side by side with his clients, Cody's approach is designed around helping them get exactly what they want for the budget they have.
Graduating from the University of Utah with his Bachelors Degree, he received numerous titles and awards. Cody was named Team Captain for the Utah Utes football team, special teams MVP and received the covenanted "Big Play Leader" award as a corner back. He also excelled in academics, graduated with honors and played professional arena football as a DB/WR.
With a passion for service and teaching, he inspires youth to work hard, be patient and dream big. Cody came to discuss our plans for a 4 bedroom house and we were looking to create a chill out bar area as well as a home office/gym. From start to finish, Cody & the team from Solitude took care of everything from the initial design to planning and through to completion of the project. Each member of his team carried out works to a very high standard and were a joy to have around. We recently had our home completely built by Solitude & we are absolutely delighted with the service we received & the end result. Nothing is too much trouble, the entire team is professional, efficient & very knowledgeable. We had requests concerning the kitchen and they quickly took them in consideration. We cannot recommend Solitude homes highly enough, having moved home we wanted a kitchen extension and new units. We went straight to Cody as he had completed our previous extension. The work was first class as expected all the working people were lovely, and the place left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Cody’s team designed the perfect kitchen for us and it looks wonderful.

This was my first time using Solitudehomes and after considering three other companies, Cody was very professional and responded to all of my many many calls regarding our complete home. They started on the job when we agreed. The team was very professional, very clean and finished on time. Highly recommended as it's hard to find companies to get the job done without having issues like leaving the job stalled for days without explanation or adding surprise costs as I have experienced with many in the past. Solitude homes built our dream home, and it turned out beautiful! Kevin was great to work with, and the company was very flexible in adding the changes we wanted in the original design. We had some minor incomplete and incorrect issues, but those are nearly complete now, and Kevin has been committed to getting things done.
