Our AC went out late on Saturday and Richard was able to be at our house at 9AM the next morning. He gave us upfront, honest pricing and didn't try to push extra services or upsell us. We will need a new system (the old one is, well, old), but thanks to Richard's help, we have time to plan and save. Overall, a great experience (and who says that about getting The AC fixed?!) and we're very grateful he was available. I cannot say enough good things about the level of service Fox Air and Heat provided. My wife and I were in a bind where our heat was not working just prior to the snow storm that came through DFW. Richard came on super late notice all the way to Justin to make sure we were taken care of. He spent extra time to not only ensure he got our system working and it continued to work, but he took the time to explain everything and make sure we understood what he was doing. Sincere. Honest. Good guy. Richard came out to evaluate my HVAC system as I was told one of my units needed to be replaced and could not be repaired. When he got here he was upfront with me and said that he works himself out of business sometimes. He opened up the outside unit and found another company had removed the capacitor and left live wires hanging. They had said there was no possible repair and had to be replaced. He put in a capacitor he had in his truck and lo and behold after hooking everything back up, the unit is throwing out cold air! I will use Richard/Fox for all my HVAC needs

Just had my annual service with Fox for my a/c unit.
Honest contractor is typically an oxymoron, but this guy is the real deal. No cutting corners, no BS, he does what he says he is going to do is super nice and is HONEST.
Brought out filters for my unit and did a complete inspection. The cost was less than $200.
Couldn't recommend them any higher.

I had a problem with my AC freezing over the weekend. I did my research first and came to the conclusion that I could not fix it myself.
So I called up Richard at Fox Air and Heat and he sent someone over to my place to take a look. I'm very glad that I did. My AC was basically one huge ice cube. The issue was that I was down two lbs of freon and my was was not cooling.
Richard sent out Joel to take a look. Joel knows his stuff. He was able to diagnose the problem. Thaw out my Ac and provide me two lbs of freon.
In about two hours I was back into making my house nice and cold again.

It was 6pm on Saturday and our air-conditioner had stopped working. We called and although their technician was about to head home he immediately began to head our way and was there in less than an hour. One of the things I appreciate is that they always have explained what is needed and what my options were. The quality of work and parts used are always the best. Richard came out to my house on a Saturday and I needed a whole unit replacement and was down with no AC. He said I would have a quote to me by Monday. Monday afternoon rolled around I texted Richard and he said he would get it to me that evening. Here it is Thursday and I still have no quote. Needless to say I went with another company here in Forney. I would not recommend this company as their lack of communication is key to losing trust in customers.
