Cellulose insulation, when sprayed into wall cavities creates the best overall solution for stopping air infiltration. Air Infiltration is when the air from the outside forces its way into the home through cracks and gaps and through inadequate insulation. It forms what is called a monolithic bond that sticks to itself and everything it touches for the life of the home unless removed.
Blown cellulose used in the ceilings and walls. Cellulose was sprayed into the walls and cellulose insulation was blown in to the ceiling after netting was installed tight. Blown Insulation is a very effective way to stop air infiltration and ultimately heat loss. Cellulose insulation is the best performing blown insulation on the market today.

Joe is a great guy and is very knowledgeable about cellulose insulation. He came out personally for the estimate and went over exactly what would be done. His crew arrived on time, were very professional, and did a great job. Prices are very fair as well. Highly recommended!

So as a new home owner in the Cleveland I have been learning more and more about my home. With extreme cold on one portion of my house that had a fully finished ceiling and was without attic access I finally was able to have a contractor cut an access hole to figure out why it was sooo cold. One look and we found what the problem was... Zero insulation, ZERO!!! I immediately searched for a quality and responsive service company. I called Joseph Wolf at AirLock Insulation in Cleveland and he picked up after the first few rings!!! I explained my issue and he said he'd be over in an hour! Joseph arrived

Airlock did an outstanding job at reasonable rates. The owner Joe is on the job supervising the work, which is very rare for contractors these days and assured the job was done to exacting specifications. Airlock uses a superior insulation product and they perform to very high standards exemplifying high levels of professionalism and integrity. Airlock far exceeded our expectations and provided fantastic superior service. VERY Highly recommend this company.

I had my whole house insulated, and had some challenging areas to get to, but the guys did it all.
Joseph and his crew went above and beyond what I expected, and cleaned up everything when they were finished. I can’t be happier with the job they did.

Joe is a straight shooter, with no up-selling and no bait and switch. Competitive pricing with a thorough and complete installation. Every cavity was filled to capacity. Airlock insulation was the best solution insulation for our 120 year old house gut and addition.
Joseph was outstanding in reviewing our house, finding out what was important to us, and helping us choose the right solutions.
When it came time to execute, he and his team were flexible and kept to their schedule.
As expected when redoing a century home, our heating costs dramatically when down.
