Myers Insulating Services is owned and operated by Jim Myers in Solon, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. We have a crew of four highly trained and skilled insulation installation contractors servicing the greater Cleveland area with a heavy concentration in the areas surrounding Solon, Parma and Cleveland Heights.
Jim's history is pretty unique in the insulation industry. Unlike many insulation contractors that come out of the home building, home inspection, roofing or siding trades, Myers got his start in the insulation industry immediately after obtaining his Ceramic Engineering Degree from New York's Alfred University and has been in the fiberglass insulation industry ever since - for over 35 years!

When Jim came out to give us a quote to add blown-in insulation to our attic and garage walls, he spent time going through the entire attic and explained what needed to be done. Another much larger insulation company's rep who came out earlier just stuck his head up there to look around for about 10 seconds. The price was very reasonable and the work was done in a very professional manner. They also included more work than the other company didn't mention or offer. My garage was cleaner after they left than it was before they started! I highly recommend Myers Insulation. Not the biggest company

These boys do a fantastic job, and are guided by a very experienced individual (Jim Myers) who is excellent at interpreting the needs of his clients. This is an honest company and I wholeheartedly encourage you to contact them for an estimate. Not sure why they have been given a one-star review for mold considering that is a completely unrelated problem to the services this company provides and isn't influenced by insulation. Perhaps that homeowner isn't as familiar with ventilation. All I know is this company has been great, and their google reviews depict a far more accurate representation

Insulation was great... until 12 months later. I hate to be writing this review, because we certainly were more comfortable and warm in our home this past winter. Unfortunately, it came at a HUGE cost.
Just over a year ago, we had Myers out to blow in some additional insulation and do some basic air sealing. Now, as a result of them not installing the proper ventilation, we are dealing with a serious mold infestation in a space that had never previously had any issue.
After having multiple mold inspectors out, the consensus is clear - the blown in insulation should never have been installed

We live in a condo with shared walls and one side has very little insulation which made going to sleep when our neighbor was watching tv or movies a nightly ordeal. Jim and his team were reliable when we called and communicated clearly. After they added insulation the noise from our neighbor was cut to a whisper! We highly recommend Jim and his team.

Quality and professionalism are two words to describe the work done by Myers Insulating Services. We live in a condo and they insulated the space above our garage. They were contacted through First Energy and immediately contacted me and provided an estimate. job was completd timely and they clean up all debris. Do not hesitate to utilize their services.

I hate to be writing this review 12 months after giving them a 5 star review (on Yelp and Google) but I feel potential customers should be forewarned. Like many other young couples, we were hopeful to make our home energy efficient and cut down on heat/AC costs. We had a number of insulation companies out for estimates, all saying our house is very drafty, and ultimately decided to go with Jim as he seemed to provide a reasonable price for the product. After insulation, our house was indeed noticeable more insulated and we were very pleased. We probably cut at least $20 per month on energy cost

Myers Insulating Services helped to insulate my home. They were extremely professional, were very clean and worked efficiently. Before they insulated my home, there was a HUGE temperature discrepancy between the first and second floors on my home. It was always freezing cold in the winter and very hot in the summer on the second floor. After Myers Insulating Services insulated and ventilated my home, my second floor as been so much more comfortable and livable in both the winter and summer seasons. My home is a more comfortable place thanks to Myers Insulating services. THANK YOU!!

Myers Insulating Service is very professional and is reasonably priced. Jim was very attentive to our needs and got the work done in a timely manner. Jim and his crew were great. I live in a Parma bungalow and he insulated my attic. As a heating contractor I know how difficult it is to keep the upstairs in that style house comfortable. It immediately made that room livable. Before the insulation we barely used the upstairs. Now it is like having a new part of the house. From beginning to end it was a very smooth process. Excellent job Jim!

Jim Myers of Myers Insulation insulated my home. His customer service was superb. His helper was polite, they were quick, knowledgeable, and cleaned up after they were done. They even vacuumed my steps.
What's most impressive was the follow up after it was done. I would expect that once a typical contractor gets paid, they wouldn't care how happy the customer is. That was not the case with Jim. He not only followed up to make sure I was happy, but he followed after a week to see if I had questions and to be certain that I was satisfied.
Jim get's a 5 star rating in my book - If I could give him
