Services
With 8 years of experience as a licensed mold remediator, there are few things that Johnny Mackey hasn't seen in regards to water damage and mold within residential homes. With that experience has also come the benefit of working with and learning from numerous mold assessors in the South Florida area.
Sometimes water or mold damage can be obvious. There may be a water stain or discoloration near a plumbing fixture, window, or appliance. In this case, we will utilize specialized. Another form of a sample, known as surface sampling can include taking lift & swab samples. Lift (or tape) sampling is an adhesive-backed slide that collects a physical.
When a visual inspection does not reveal any discernible issues, we rely on air sampling. Air samples are collected through a sampling pump into a cassette. Once the air sample is collected, the cassette is delivered to an independent laboratory to be analyzed. The lab technician will then be able to determine not only what type of mold(s) are present, but also in what concentrations.

Sean was very professional, on time, did exactly what he said he would, and very responsive. I had no idea what I was doing and he was thorough and patient in explaining the process and what I was to expect, which gave me peace of mind. He also came back to my house a few extra times helping me through this experience, and re testing for mold after remediation. I highly recommend Sean and Shamrock!

Sean was professional and honest with fair pricing. He guided me properly in the remediation of my mold damage and with spots to explore before they might become an issue. We are renovating an older home in Central Boca and I highly recommend you use him before closing on an older home or if you suspect any water/mold damage. We found this hidden.

I encountered an water damage issue in my rental home. Sean was very quick to assist, provided me with valuable information and help. As a Realtor, I occasionally deal with mold issues in a property. I had the opportunity to work with Sean from Shamrock Mold Inspections and really enjoyed the experience.
