Unfortunately we were not able to use Nelson because we live in Orlando and they only service Tampa, but the company was caring enough to provide a detailed and timely response to our inquiry with helpful hints on finding the right vendor in Orlando for our project. Most contractors would not even respond let alone offer assistance.

In response. Never once did we respond we were satisfied and happy with the sub standard tile work. Quite the opposite. There was crooked tile work in the kitchen that had to be repaired as well. In regard to “courage”, we were standing around the dining room table during the last discussion with Greg Nelson where he told us he was done with us and absolutely would not bring any of his crew in to fix the issues. The idea that Nelson Construction “managed” our condo does not credit a response. As far as warranty work, we walked into a “supposedly finished job” to a noticeable dent in

Greg and the team completely renovated a 1939 cottage and outbuildings for us in 2008 - 2009 to a modern coastal home with all the hurricane mitigation, completely new plumbing, electric, gas, roofs, Hardiplank siding, interiors, baths, and custom kitchens. Spectacular results! Even better was the process - efficient, proactive, engaging, on-time, and always a pleasure to deal with. Renovating old structures always has surprises - Greg handled them all constructively and with confidence. Highly recommended!

The Nelson Construction crew has now worked in 2 major projects for me. One residential and one commercial. After several bad experiences with previous contractors we have been very pleased with their hardwork, vision and professionalism. Greg Nelson took on the projects and worked hard at executing my vision while adding his own vision until the projects were fully executed beyond my expectations. I was assigned Nicole as a project manager at my commercial and she has been beyond amazing taking responsibility for the project and going beyond her responsibilities to ensure the project was completed

My wife and I chose Nelson Construction to remodel our home. Our remodel included an updated kitchen with custom cabinetry, reconfigured and updated laundry room, updated master bathroom... as well as some new flooring and trim work throughout. We are very pleased with the end result!
The custom work by Nelson's in-house cabinet / work shop was high quality... from our slate blue cabinets to our barnwood floors to our custom beams in the ceiling. Marcus oversaw / project managed the work, and did a great job. He followed-up and addressed any questions or issues we had throughout the process.

Used Nelson to add an addition to our home. Great group of professionals. Very talented. We especially benefited from having their Site Supervisor (Eli Player) be extremely available and ever present to answer our constant barrage of questions. The only blemish regarding Nelson involved the inferior work of a couple of their sub-contractors. But to Nelson’s credit they quickly addressed the problems and made them right. In summary, a great company with great people. We definitely would not hesitate to choose them again for any future jobs.
