We are a liscensed pool service contractor, registered through state and county. We are a member of the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and the National Plasters Council. The Pool Doctor has been owned and operated by the same person since 1991. Our team of professionals have remodeled over 3,200 pools and have earned the reputation of a respectable company.
Our weekly pool and hot tub service consists of vacuuming and netting your pool and or hot tub to remove dirt and debris. We clean the tile and brush the entire pool and or hot tub surface. We also empty the skimmer basket and the pump basket and clean all types of filters when needed. We check the chemical levels and add proper chemical amounts to balance your pool and or hot tub chemistry.

I am beyond happy with the final result!! The Pool Doctor removed the old fiberglass layer via hydro blast and replaced it with hydrazzo. They also installed new tiles, a railing, and a new skimmer. I honestly don’t think I could have picked a better team. Thank you for all of your hard work my pool is GORGEOUS!!

The pool doctor has been my go to for pool repair for many years. In July the tree right by the pool pump was struck by lightning. I am I’m mediately called the pool doctor because my pump would not work at all. They put in a whole new Salt system due to main board short circuiting for $1436.70. I payed them immediately. Now comes time to collect the money from the insurance company and they refuse to cooperate with us. What poor customer service. They are holding up all our Other insurance money for everything else that was fried by the lightning. I will never do business with them again. What

Technician fixed one problem, misdiagnosed one other, and claimed there was an issue with equipment malfunction where no issue existed. Did not show up for the follow up appointment but called at 6:45pm to say he'd be there the next day. Told me I would be charged for the return visit to fix the problem that they didn't fix, yet charged me for time and an unnecessary part. Got huffy when I challenged the additional charges. Didn't show up the next day, didn't get a call either. BBB complaints say the same thing about no shows. Terrible customer service, charged me 3 times

We hired The Pool Doctor to refinish our whole pool area. We chose the more expensive finish, hydrazzo. It has a huge white area where the blue stones didn't get mixed in well enough. See pictures. There was no chance of resolution as the owner became very defensive and screamed and yelled at me. BEWARE of this company. Everything will be great until they make a mistake and then you will suffer for it.

Company called the day of appointment at 4:45 PM to tell us he couldn't make it that day (after we had waited all day patiently - no bother to call until then). Came the next day and after a brief discussion of the issues, proceed to begin an argument about replacing the decking and the use of sealers. Couldn't get a word in to explain damage, and what we have been informed would need to be done and/or replaced damaged surface. (five companies have already given estimate in addition to an independent consultant). Had to ask if he was done talking so that we could get a word in. Indicated it was

I highly recommend The Pool Doctor. I had them resurface my pool and install a new light. No high pressure salesman came to give an estimate. The pricing was fair compared to other estimates I got. They gave me three different choices of finishes. Even with a lot of rain they finished in the time they said they would. The only recommendation I would give is to take the wording (7 days of pool service) out of the contract. After only 3 days of pool service mine was crystal clear and balanced.

I searched the Tampa Bay area for a pool company that would come out and repair a leak in my pool. After calling 8-10 companies - only 2 were even interested in giving me a quote. Most pool companies only want to do new construction or complete remodels. The 1st company to come out DID in fact only want to fix my leak if I had them do a full remodel. Then the Pool Doctor came out. Darryl was very knowledgeable about my older in ground pool. His dad was building pools back in the 60s & 70s.
