Overall they are more versatile and durable. They are less likely to show wear and tear over time, not prone to cracking, and they are easier and cheaper to repair in the event of damage. The variety of colors and designs is also an advantage. We need to measure and assess the property to give you a realistic quote.
It is designed to flex as the ground moved and yet remain solid enough for heavy cars and trucks to drive on it. Because of its flexibility, it is a good solution in colder climates where freezing and thawing occurs. Cons: Will dry out and crack over time, with large cracks turning into potholes and depressions.

I was duly impressed with KC Paving and recommend this company highly for asphalt or pavers. We hired them to do both - asphalt on two driveways and pavers on two walkways. It's a family-owned business, so they take particular pride in servicing clients. They're professional, reliable, and detailed. We had a very good experience with this family owned firm. They re-paved our driveway. They arrived early to work and left late. As a result the job went fast. They were very professional and were very knowledgeable about concrete and paving. They cleaned up completely before they left. Their proposal was far more detailed than any other.

We were very happy with KC Paving from start to finish. We had also considered another paving contractor, but that person was 2 hours late for our scheduled appointment. Jorge was on time, and he came to our home more than once for additional questions we had. Throughout the process, representatives from KC Paving were friendly and professional. Although the other contractor's quote was less, KC was in the ballpark and they had already proven they were reliable. My contact person at KC was Enrique. We had to delay the project a number of months. Enrique's communication and follow up was very professional without being pushy. We worked together to find a date that worked.
When the crew arrived it didn't take long for them to assess to demolition part of the project and the old asphalt was gone quickly. The crew worked well together mainly taking direction from the leader who I later met and who turned out to be the owner of the company. I cannot

Before hearing some good things about KC Paving, I had left messages with several other paving companies and did not even receive a return call. KC Paving actually answered the phone and Enrique was out to give me an estimate within a day or two. He answered all my questions and could not have been more helpful leading up to the actual day the work was done. He even came by on a holiday to deliver cones and signs so I could secure the area around my driveway for their trucks to park the following day.

We had an unusable backyard a few years ago due to overgrown brush and a lawn that we had to stop watering due to the drought. We are a small HOA and must maintain our own street (cul de sac). We met with Eliseo and he worked with us to fit us in within their tight schedule. The work was done on time and they did a great job. We did have one concern about a few spots on the road after they completed the work. Eliseo was very responsive and came out immediately so I could show him, and his crew responded quickly and resolved the issues. We were very pleased with the work completed, the timeliness of the work, and the professionalism exhibited by everyone. I agree with all of the other positive reviews.

We are replacing cracked, 50 year old sidewalks and patio areas in our newly purchased home. Eliseo came out and gave me a bid for each of the three areas we need to replace. He discussed the project, told me what they can do and took into account my ideas for how it should look. Very professional!
They have completed one area, and we will continue to use their help replacing the other two areas.
The crew that came out to do the work was efficient and hard working.

This is an excellent operation. I used them to do some driveway work on a long drive and I must say I'm delighted. They patched my drive in a few places, fixed some tree root damage and redid a sewer cleanout. Then they filled the cracks and sealed the whole drive. The estimate and contracting process was simple, they show up on time, communicate very well and best of all while I was at work today they did a great job. I just came home and admired it. I got 2 bids for a driveway entrance. Both were about $6000. KC noted that it would be $1300 less if the inspector said we didn't need to remove the road asphalt and replace it. Fortunately that turned out to be the case. They billed me the extra $500 for the city's encroachment permit (as explained and agreed). I had failed to grind the stump deep enough. They recommended a change order to the original bid for them to immediately go rent a stump grinder so the bed could be deep enough per city engineering detail. This was an extra $600. Net net, $6000 out the door. KC Paving was professional

KC Paving recently completed the excavation and re-installation of our asphalt driveway to address significant buckling caused by invasive roots of a weeping willow tree. Eliseo did a good job explaining what work needed to be done, and the job was completed exactly as scheduled and on budget. Jorge kept us posted and dealt with questions and decisions that could only be made after our damaged driveway was removed in a calm but thorough manner. The job included a new paver pathway and landing to our front door and looks fantastic. We highly recommend this contractor for the quality of their work

Worked with Jorge from KCPaving on a small concrete and driveway paving job. Happy with the end result and he was easy to reach via email and phone. I wasn't around to manage them and trusted them to do the right thing
We had a few small snags. The workers left a bunch of things around the first night on the street outside of our permit space and some neighbors complained, they also initially installed our gate slightly off height on one side but were able to fix it with washers. They also ran into some issues getting the curb cut inspected as they had a different inspector come to inspect
