I could not have asked for a better experience. Ricardo and team was incredibly helpful form the moment I called him. He has been in this business for 40+ years and you can tell. He knows his stuff and knew the problem of my wall heater just by me describing it on the phone. Regardless, Ricardo came to take a look at my wall heater and recognized the issue. I also had a very unique circumstance to deal with and he adapted to my needs in a kind and thoughtful way. My wall heater was fixed in less than an hour replacing my old thermostat. Do yourself a favor and dont think about this one.

Ricardo and his team was wonderful. I reached out to Ricardo early June to get a quote for installing a mini-split AC unit for our master suite and he responded within 2 hours. Got everything coordinated and he came out to do an estimate at his first availability. During his visit, you can tell that Ricardo has done this a long time. Super professional and thorough. Ricardo did what no other HVAC place was willing to do: Work with my HOA until they were willing to allow us to install central a/c. The time-consuming, iterative process of making the HOA happy was gracefully and efficiently managed by Ricardo's amazing office manager Cristina.

Yesterday I used my a/c for the first time, and it got my place cold! I have a very high ceiling on the third floor, so I worried that the a/c wouldn't work there, but it got plenty cold.

Ricardo and his team of installers are true professionals. They knocked out this major installation in two straight days

I can highly recommend this long established local business. Ricardo Valderrama not only owns the business, he also performs work in customers' homes and businesses. The person who takes the calls and schedules the jobs is very professional and really worked to get my furnace fixed asap on a cold, rainy day. Although I was scheduled for tomorrow, Mr. Valderrama called at 4:30 because he finished another job early and came on over. We will have heat tonight and I am very grateful for that extra effort. He has owned this business for 40 years and it is obvious why the company is still in business

Knowledgable, competent, and courteous.

I had Ricardo come over and check my handy work on a capacitor replacement in our outside unit. He quickly determined I had installed the wrong type and fixed it very quickly. He topped off our coolant and got our AC back up and running with no problems.

The A/C in our relatively brand new town-home stopped working and I called up Bayhill to diagnose the problem. Ricardo responded immediately and you can tell right away he has many years of experience with A/C systems. We had a leak somewhere in our system and while he had a good idea of what the problem was, he walked me through all the possibilities to eliminate any surprises and was very patient with all my questions. When entering my attic for another purpose, I discovered water in the pan below my second story furnace and evaporator AC coil.
I called the contractor I had previously used for my downstairs furnace in my roughly 12 year old home. He sent a very junior person to investigate and, after exchanging picture texts with the boss, said that I needed a new furnace and coil and that it would require significant new framing work in the attic to provide the required clearance for the new equipment.

Ricardo tried to tell us that our 2 year old house that was built to code need $25,000 worth of HVAC services and "good luck finding some who would take on this job" other than him.
He was so cocky walking in and thought he knew everything.

Luckily, we found 4 other companies willing to "take on this job" at a 1/8 of the price.

December 2017 Ricardo Valderrama, Owner of Bayhill & Air came to give us a quote. He's a pleasant man and charged a fair price so this is not an easy review to give.

I am permanently handicapped and realized we were off to a bad start when He replaced our old thermostat but failed to connect the wires and the heater wouldn't start. Me and my young children spent a very cold night (40 degrees) without heat.

I asked Mr. Valderrama about attic insulation. He inspected the attic and told me it wasn't needed. Later, PG&E determined insulation was very inadequate.

We have been using Bayhill Heat & Air several times since 2010: For furnace, water heater, central air conditioning (global warming, after all!). Always we have had excellent, prompt service.

This past week we had a problem with our water heater: no hot water! And we could not understand why. So we called our trusty Ricardo Valderrama, and he arrived within just a few hours to check out our problem. To our pleasure, there was nothing wrong with our water heater, but the pilot light had gone out. So Ricardo showed us how to test it out ourselves and get it going in the future.

I must say, at first it was a bit rocky however I am a person that demands perfection. I was on Ricardo like a hawk...I felt bad but I got exactly what I wanted. we had issues within some of the sub contracting but Ricardo stepped up to the plate and addressed all of my concerns.
so it comes down to this...if you're like me,, someone whom demands excellence Bayhill is your go to..believe me and go ahead and ask him, he will always remember that azzhole in RWC..BTW after all our dust ups he gave me new covers for my air unit which I never would have expected..now Bayhill will be doing my

We called Bayhill after being less than impressed with the first company that we called. Ricardo came to our house to look at our furnace the same day we called.

He recommended replacement, which we were expecting, but he provided a thorough explanation of what was wrong and why repair wasn't an option.

He gave us a detailed proposal that identified the parts, their cost and associated labor. Note that the first company we called (one of those with a half page ad in the yellow pages) gave us an estimate on the back of a business card with no details at all. Ricardo's proposal was also

I called Bayhill Heat and Air this pastThanksgiving weekend telling them that our furnace was out. Ricardo answered and scheduled us for 9am that Tuesday. I called Bayhill again on Monday (day before the appointment) and had to explain our situation again. This time, they told me they had to reschedule. I already had blocked out my schedule for Tuesday. Ricardo called me back again with a "quote" of about $750 for the work that they didn't even come by to diagnose yet. In short - they did a terrible job installing the unit with regard to the electrical. Then when I called him back to fix the problem he said he cannot fix it because he's not an electrician.

The details:
Bayhill Heat and Air is the company that installed my A/C before I bought the house. The company sticker was on the A/C. So when the A/C stopped working I eventually called the guy. He remembered my house. He came over and told me that it's an electrical problem, and he's not an electrician therefore cannot fix it. So he still charged me, because he came out to my house.

The short: Good service, good manners, good communication, but did not complete work in estimated time.

I'd like to specifically name Benny who was the lead contractor on the job. Throughout the whole install of the forced air furnace and duct install, he was friendly, polite, good spirited, busting his butt, and taking care of his guys. He made me feel comfortable having him and his crew in my house all the time.

During the install, the crew took care to not damage my stuff, covered floors and furniture when necessary, and asked for permission when needed. They know it's not
