In 1925, Vic Bockrath Sr. entered the flooring business, quickly becoming the flooring manager for Rike Kumler Co. by the time he was 21 years old. He began specializing in the field, installing linoleum and carpet and repairing oriental rugs. In 1955, he started his own company, averaging 10 to 15 repairs a week.

Luxury vinyl tile, also known as LVT, is one of the most popular flooring systems in America today. The customer service and commitment to quality at this store are superb! I have dealt with several businesses in the process of remodeling my home and this store is by far the best in customer service, selection and quality. They are far better than McSwain flooring or any of the other competition in the area. This store has a huge variety of flooring and rugs. I have looked for the right rugs for my home for 5 years since moving in and only Bockrath was able to make what we needed. Also, the owner and store manager personally came to my home to do the measurements. The installer was knowledgeable

We are thrilled with Bockrath. They carpeted several rooms in our home years ago and did excellent work, so of course we called them again when it was time to get new carpeting. Rob and Eric came this week and did an exceptional job installing our beautiful new carpet. You can tell these guys are pros. I have shopped and made numerous purchases at Bockrath flooring since 1995. Many homes we have owned and occupied were all done by Bockrath. I also purchased a large aerial rug from them. I can not speak high enough about the business. Always a well done job and very professionally done. I have always lived at least one hour from the store but still made that drive when it was time for carpet. One of a kind for selection and unique flooring. Well worth the trip to Dayton to shop for high quality flooring..

Lisa at Bockrath was wonderful to work with!! I have an unusually long dining room and I don’t love oriental rugs for the style of room. So.... I ended up purchasing two large and beautiful rugs there and then had Bockrath create one rug from the two. It is beautiful!!! They did a great job!
