My wife and I hired them to design a tricky renovation of our bungalow in Seattle. We wanted it to be a lot more modern and we got it...we LOVE the design! For some reason the refrigerator didn’t fit without some creative engineering in the contractors part but it’s all good now. We are very happy with Cortes - they took care of everything for us - definitely one of the best Seattle Architects...and we interviewed 6. Talented and responsive team of designers.

Coates Design was hired to do a commercial addition/remodel of a public facility. Their depth of knowledge was impressive as well as their response to the project. When issues arose, as they always do, they responded to the site and worked with all parties to resolve the issues to the owners satisfaction.
Additionally, Cynthia C. was instrumental in a residential remodel that significantly added to the resale value of that property.
