JTS did a very professional job in both trimming and removing (a very big tree that was tilting). First, they showed up on time without any delay. Secondly, they cleaned up the mess after work and left the place clearer than found. Even though the permit with City of Fremont was frustrating due to holiday delay, Jose has been able to push the city with permit process and get the job done beautifully. We are very satisfied with the service and highly recommend this for any tree business.

We have several tall oak trees, a tall privacy hedge and an overgrown street tree - all of which were in need of significant trimming and pruning. We chose JTS as they were recommended and also authorized by the City to cut back street trees. Last week They came and did a great job on all our trees! The cuttings were very even and balanced while looking very clean and feathery. The guys cleaned up everything very nicely and even had us check at the end to make sure we were satisfied. This week we contacted Jose the owner about some tree roots he had noticed. He came out and much to our surprised

I had a really bad experience with JTS tree service as they delayed my work by almost two months, later I felt trapped and they made me pay 1500 dollars over the initially quoted price (which was already overpriced to begin with). I regret my decision to hire them, I would never use or recommend this service in future.

They took out a lot of brush and trimmed a large oak tree. They really knew what they were doing. They used a chipper to get rid of all the remains and did an excellent job of cleaning up. Some debris even fell into a neighbor's yard and they cleaned that up as well.
The oak looks like a different tree. I feel so much safer with all the heavy branches gone. They left a lovely canopy so there is still plenty of shade.
I would recommend them to anyone.

They help me to cut a very strange big tree,
my tree is leaning one side.
And I explain to one guy from JTS, he immediately get it,
I want it to thin out and grow tall.
Basically they are the best tree cutter. I use other company before
and people cut it so ugly. But JTS is amazing.
Get the work done so fast also and clean up fast.

While making the appointment for when work would be done Jose worked around *Our* schedule ! He always got back to me right away either phone call or txt!
On the big day he and his crew even showed up early and got right to work! They were to remove some big trees completely, then replace them with some much cleaner ones. They didn't waste any time, they were amazing! Even Jose himself was up in the trees for a while!

Amazing tree service! We needed to trim two large trees in front of our house, and my sister recommended JTS, which she has used on several occasions. They were great from start to finish. They arrived on time with the proper equipment, and Jorge was super friendly and easy to talk to. We discussed exactly what he was going to do. He was knowledgeable and made us feel at ease since we wanted to make sure the health of these very old trees would not be compromised. Jorge and his team took their time and were very meticulous. These guys are really good at what they do. We have a HUGE sycamore tree in our backyard. They got here on time this morning which I really appreciated. I hardly noticed them working in the back, other than the occasional notice from the shredder. My husband even mentioned that they work quietly. Our backyard is clean, and they even cleaned our neighbor's yard from the debris that fell over. The tree looks AMAZING!! I'm happy with the results!!
BTW, I didn't take this decision lightly. I got a bunch of quotes and they were the ones that responded right away AND answered

Awesome company. Clearly the judge of a quality tree company isn't just removal; anyone can cut a tree down and as long as they don't drop a limb on your neighbor's roof - success. They did a great job and made sure they communicated well about what was going on. Right after they took out a big pine and a palm, I had them come back and remove one elm and trim back another. They did a GREAT job cutting the second elm back. They'll definitely be taking out the rest of my trees when needed.

His crew showed up promptly a few mornings later. Benjamin, the foreman, did all the tree climbing and cutting while the others brought the cuttings out to the street to feed to the wood chipper. Benjamin was quite knowledgeable about trees. He said he's been doing this for 16 years. When I told him what I was trying to accomplish with each tree, he repeated my instructions to make sure we were both on the same page.

Mr. Soto and team responded to my call on day 1, quote provided while onsite, help us get the permit rolling with the City, then arrived on time to perform corrective surgery of our ancient Camphor Tree in Glenmoor Gardens. As I explained to Jose and team upon job completion, safest working tree crew we have ever worked with, and the cleanup was awesome, as even our neighbors commented positively.

I had them trim two large (50 feet tall) chinese elm trees in my backyard. It was a difficult job as there are lots of small plants underneath they had to not crush. The crew came out and did an amazing job of thinning the canopy, finding and cutting out the dead wood and cutting branches away from my roof. The result was open, airy trees that look like they had not been pruned - which is exactly what you want. I hate seeing these 'chop jobs' where trees are horribly pruned and look like they were abused! The trees are open internally and have lots of room to grow as they leaf out

* They beat the best quote I had.
* I had a replacement tree suggestion from another (city's recommended) contractor. Jose was not satisfied with that recommendation and asked me to confirm with city. As Jose suspected they didn't approve that tree. Good that I asked and thanks to Jose, experience matters.
* Scheduled the removal on Tuesday at 8:30am.

Jose's Tree Service recently trimmed back some oak trees from my roof. Their 3 man crew did a wonderful job at a reasonable rate. Their work was done safely, on time and very professional. They chipped the smaller branches, cut and stacked fire wood and cleaned up with rakes and leaf blower. I am very pleased with their work.

We had some "deadly" oleander which we needed to have removed because we have a new puppy. You may, or may not know, that oleander is poisonous! Anyway, I called Jose and then Alex came out. Give us a very reasonable estimate, and showed up the next day. Took the plants out, and cleaned up after himself. Very friendly, great job, reasonable price. You can't ask for more.
