It all started at one of those members-only big box stores. Kitchen & bath CRATE's founder Scott Monday and his wife had just checked out and were walking down the aisle-of-big-ticket items, joking to each other about the fact that the store sold nearly everything except kitchen remodels. The joke went further and soon there were absurd dreams of helicopter-delivered storage crates full of all the materials needed for a kitchen remodel.

From the first phone call to job completion, every one at the company has been excellent.
On the first phone call I made I got a price for the kitchen remodel after describing the kitchen and telling them what I had in mind.
Next the design team came out to see the kitchen and talk about what my wife and I wanted. They took measurements and made some helpful suggestions.
The next visit they brought renderings of a finished remodel for our approval and a price for the completed work.

We had a small, dysfunctional master bathroom that looked like a cheap hotel bathroom. It also had only one electrical outlet. Their interior designer, Lindsay, saw immediately that the bathroom would seem more spacious if we moved the door, allowing better use of wall space. This made the bathroom feel more spacious. Kitchen & Bath crate did a great job renovating our kitchen & half bath. Everybody was great to work with and very friendly. The whole process was amazing from meeting with their interior designer to pick out our new countertops, colors for the cabinets & cabinet door styles, to them resolving a few concerns we had on our punch list a few weeks after completion. It's been 4 months since they finished and I noticed some of the caulking where the backsplash meets the countertops starting to crack, and they were back out to my house within a week to fix the problem. Once the decision was made to remodel the master bath, everything went smoothly, quickly and professionally. I was not confident in choosing the design but professional designer was provided in picking out everything from the tile, colors to the handles on the cabinets. The project started on time and was even finished a day early! A schedule is provided at the beginning of the project so there are no surprises as to the next step in the project. We are loving our new kitchen!! I have to say I was pleasantly pleased throughout the whole process. First of all, we loved Willy. He is just a down to earth, funny and easy to talk to guy. He even drove out to meet me in Livermore when we were trying to find that perfect piece of granite. I loved the whole process being laid out in a schedule format so I knew exactly what to expect on what day and some stuff even done a little earlier than planned. Phenominal group to work with. From our initial call, they were upfront with the price and potential costs of the project. Our first meeting with Willy included lost of questions to understand the size and scope of the project. He was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The most impressive part was his honesty. In now way did I think or feel that the company was trying to "pull a fast one." Once we agreed to move forward, the designer and our project manager were introduced with the same professionalism that we had previously experienced.
