Allen Sidwell is a graduate from the School of Architecture and Allied Arts from the University of Oregon. A Certified Landscape Designer, Allen got his start in Portland Oregon and moved to San Diego. Allen has a passion for design that brings beauty, function and sustainability to his work. Allen is a people person and loves to connect with new clients to find out their needs and really listen and understand their wants.
We start with a free in home consolation to better understand your wants, design style and preferences. We will answer your questions and provide an overview of the design process. 2. Review your goals and complete a site analysis of your property. We will consider your budget restrictions and develop a concept plan that incorporates the elements of your wants and needs.

Allen took on a small project in our front yard - but he did not treat it like a small project! We had plenty of opportunity to communicate, share ideas, iterate on design, and get a great design out of it. Allen provided excellent suggestions on plants that suit our very sunny front yard. He also helped find a landscape contractor to install the project. The contractor even commented on how clear Allen's plans were!

We worked with Allen for a complete redesign of our backyard - he was lovely to work with and took into account both of our ideas/styles to create a final design we were both excited about. He also helped us break down the design into smaller projects, and was always willing to help and answer questions even after we completed working with him.

Allen redesigned our backyard last year, and we couldn't be happier with his work. He listened to our needs and provided a plan that included many new, interesting plants along with some stone work that has really brought the backyard together. Allen was also a pleasure to work with and we are so happy with our new outdoor living spaces.

We just completed a complete redesign of our back yard and we could not have done it without the help of Allen. He created a design plan but we could see it as a 3D movie that made a huge difference to see in detail the new deck and fire pit we put in. Allen is a true professional and I would highly recommend him if you need a Landscape Designer.

I was very impressed with the professionalism and creativity Allen has shown in his landscape designs. I really like the idea of seeing not only a 2D landscape plan but also seeing it as a 3D movie and it gave the landscape a true-life perspective.
