Services
NRG Homes was started by Eric Ward of WS Construction located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. WS Construction is a construction management firm that specializes in Commercial, Agricultural and Industrial projects. Eric started NRG Homes to focus on the "greener side" of residential construction. Shannon Grismer came aboard as a partner with NRG Homes in March of 2018.
NRG Homes specializes in custom home building. We prefer to use more green, energy efficient methods such as using SIP (Structurally Insulated Panels) construction, but we can build using whatever the clients preferred building method is. NRG Homes can help you get the curb appeal you are looking for with updating the exterior of your home.
Structurally Insulated Panels, or SIP's, are built out of two wood panels (OSB or plywood) with a core foam insulation in the middle. SIP's is an energy efficient building package option that are designed to save money on energy bills by combining building science with high performance products to create a home that is environmentally friendly as well as comfortable.

We are extremely pleased with the high-quality workmanship and unique design of our NRG Homes custom-built home. Eric, John and company are easy to work with and have the highest integrity!! They were quick to respond and remedy a small concern we had over 2 yrs. after the project was completed - WOW!! We would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to build a custom, high-quality home.
