Chase from Tungsten Royce did an excellent job. We have a custom made door with Kumuru (similar to Epe) affixed. We supplied the wood and labor; Tungsten Royce gave us the requisite specifications. With the weight of the door, we needed to change out the motor. Each time we telephoned, we received a quick response. Professional service; appointments were kept; door works excellent!!! I own a Historic building (1915 Spanish Mediterranean revival) close to old town Orange off Chapman Ave. I needed to upgrade a detached roll up garage door with something beautiful and also era correct.
I decided on Double carriage doors hand made by Tungsten Royce called their “Lemon Project” and couldn’t be happier.

I can not say enough good about this company!! I own a wedding venue in Idaho and needed some grand doors to separate 2 venue spaces and I needed the doors not just to function as doors but to be a feature of our venue. I looked all around locally and was struggling to find someone who could make doors that were 10 feet tall and 5 feet wide (to fill a 10x10 opening). The guys at Tungston Royce did a fantastic job making my bi-fold carriage doors. My house in NY has carriage doors from another company, but after meeting with Mike & Chase at my house and I even went to visit their production facility (I'm a technical guy, I like to see how things are made and inspect quality and workspace) I decided to use them for the doors on my house in LA. I contacted Chase of Tungsten Royce 3 years ago to install a custom gate based upon my vision. I wanted an 8 foot tall gate. I wanted African Mahogany. I wanted frosted glass. The list goes on. In the end, Chase built a one of a kind masterpiece. It’s not just a piece of art, it’s the focal point of our home. It’s modern, yet warm. It’s overwhelming, yet welcoming.

I would not do business with this company again!! You expect quality for what these guys charge but they deliver nothing remotely close. Poor customer service and no attention to detail. Their installer did such a poor job that the company had to send someone out 8 times to correct his obvious errors and we're still having problems months later. Barely cleaned up during installation and left nails in the driveway in plain sight. We're pursuing other avenues to "make things right." I'd be happy to talk to anyone who's considering hiring these guys and show you their

I was looking for a door to convert my garage to an entertainment/Man cave space (for you know who). I called Tungsten Royce and they came to my home and gave me a few great ideas. We were so happy with how the gates looked when they were first installed. It has been a year and a half, we have been battling problems ever since. Currently one of the gates is sealed shut and we have been unable to use it for months, and another cannot be closed. Calls and text messages for assistance have gone unanswered and unaddressed since January. Promises of calls to address the problem never come. The unprofessionalism and disregard is truly disappointing. I am now faced with finding someone that can fix our gates and determining how to approach restitution.

I secured an appointed very quickly with Mike Bronson whom measured, and discussed options for a custom entry and 3 garage doors. We spent a great deal of time together discussing options. Mike indicated he would have my proposal in a few days. I followed several weeks later and both my calls and emails went unanswered. As an Estate Property Manager, I pride myself in my ability to find a way to blend cutting edge technology and old world craftsmanship. I was concerned recently when the rough hewn timber gate at a Signature Property in Rancho Santa Fe started to fail. Luckily I found the team at Tungsten Royce.
They appreciated the design of the original gate which extended the use of rough hewn timbers and natural stone found all over the property, a style often seen in the Loire Valley. While the gate is heavy and sturdy, it also provides sightlines to the oversize urns and landscape inside the gate.
